Course with many sand traps and water hazards
First time playing this course and it is one of the best courses my wife and I have played. Many of the holes resemble some of the PGA courses that I watch on TV. Sand bunkers protect all of the holes and water hazards supplement the course to make it very challenging. The next time I’m in the Charlotte area we will play it again and again, Proshop is well equipped.
Great course. Pace of play was slow, but still well worth it.
Just OK
Pace of play slow. Waited 5 minutes to ten minutes on every single shot. Greens nice but people weren't fixing their ball marks. Fairways ok but mowed too low and tee boxes average. For the high price charged the course just didn't justify the price. 45 weekend with 35 after 2 would be more in line. Short easy course that is fun to play.
You Won’t Be Disappointed
Fantastic layout and the course was in great shape. Well worth the drive if you live in the greater Charlotte ares
Great course
I live in Charlotte and will make the drive to play this beautiful course. I love everything about it except for the fact that so many people do not repair their divot marks on the greens. The greens themselves are very nice, but because people are so lazy and do not repair their marks they’re pretty rough in some areas. It’s truly a shame that people don’t respect this wonderful course! Regardless, I will keep coming back because I love the layout and challenges the course presents
1st time player
we heard many good things about this course and it held true 100%. Beautiful layout, however quite challenging. Manicured beautifully. Grounds crew very respectful of our play. We never waited for anyone. It was a perfect day of golf on a perfect golf course. We will be back for sure. Thank you!
Fairways are awesome!
The fairways are in great condition. The tee boxes are good but the bunkers could use a little more sand. The greens just had their fall aerification and should be back to normal by mid-September.
Ball marks
They may need provide free divot tools and hands on training to the masses. Greens would have been 5 stars without all the pitch marks. The rest of the course was in wonderful condition. The greens still rolled true but having to repair pitch marks on every hole should not be necessary.
Always a treat to play
After a couple of days with lots of rain the course was surprisingly good shape. Bunkers were packed solid and heavy but otherwise very playable.
Great course with lots of fun
Coming from flat south Florida, playing courses like this is always fun (and so different)!
