jacksoncourse
First time playing and great facilities all over but you guys communications were broken because both courses were aerated as recent as4days ago!never said anything at your web site!thinking I should get a credit because of the lack of communication!
Rock Barn CC
Of the two courses the Jones course is the best. The course was doing maintenance so we played 9 holes on the Jones and then 9 on the Jackson course. The staff was on top of everything when we arrived and got us off earlier than our tee time. Definitely want to go back and play the Jones course when not being worked on. Overall was a very good time.
would love to play it again
A great golfing experience with a friendly and accommodating staff. The only hitch was that golfnow's website had tee times starting at 6am when the club's earliest starting time is 730. I had a tee time for 722 which was not a problem.
This place is just AMAZING!
I hd played this course before with an amateur league, so when my friend who had always beating me in overall score asked if I wanted to play it this time I didn't hesitate. The course is in amazing conditions, the rough lives to it's tough expectations. Greens are rolling beautifully and true. I completely understand why the Champions Tour plays here. The course is challenging enough for anyone if they can't stay on the fairway, but keeping it fun and entertaining. Not to say that it was the first time I beat my friend so I'll be definitely making my way back here sometime.
Beautiful Course
The course was in great shape, naturally the champions tour is coming in a few weeks or so. We enjoyed the course was in great shape, the staff seemed to be a little pressed but nonetheless overall great outing.
Always Top Notch!
The Rock Barn courses (especially the Jones) are always a pleasure. The Jones course is in excellent condition. The greens were a bit slower than usual but who cares? It was The Jones course!! We played for $35.00 each and I would do that every week for that price.
Nice Round
Great Staff, course was in good shape for August.
Greens were fast but not too fast. Very little waiting on course.
good day of golf
the course was in good shape. The greens were rolling pretty fast but fair.
Well Worth It
Chose Rock Barn for a Friday round and was not disappointed. Course was in fantastic shape and the weather could not be more perfect. Played the Jones course and it lived up to its reputation. Greens rolled super-true. There were a few instances of ongoing construction throughout the course but for the most part everything was quiet. Would have liked for the course to be a little more well-marked (had a rangefinder so this is negligible). Overall a great day. Will definitely have to come back and play here again.
Best Course I've ever played
There is no question as to why the PGA chooses to host a Senior Tour event here. The greens are immaculate and there is not a blade of grass out of place. The course demands every club in the bag and precise placement of your tee shots to set up multiple shots over water. Do not leave any shot or putt short.
golf
Great course to play. Fairways are nice greens are great and fast all around a great course.
Amazing
This is my all time favorite course. I am working to make some mini tour stops and this place really hones in the game. Very fair but a great challenge from the back tees. 10
One of the best values
The Robert Trent Jones course was in great shape and will challenge all the clubs in the bag. Greens ran true and staff was very friendly.
Excellent course
Excellent course, greens were in excellent shape a little slow but it's summer time!
Great day at Rock Barn
We got a great deal through golf now for the Jackson course,it was in very good shap,we finished 18 and then played 9 on the Jones course ,very nice but they had just aerated the fairways,no big thing, greens were excellent .everyone at Rock Barn was very helpful,we had lunch in the restaurant ,ClubSandwich one was enough for 2people,excellent day!!!
Championship Course
Wonderful playing conditions. Pace of play is only problem here. Difficult course for high-handicapper.
awesomeness
Played the Jones course first . Was awesome played the best golf of my life . Challenging especially some of the par 3's from the higher elevation points . Would recommend this course and will play it again . The best thing if u have enough time is to finish the day on the Jackson course not quite as demanding but I'd allot of fun . The turn around fee $20 . Worth it .
Always great
Played here many times. Staff always friendly. Hot dog at the turn was awesome. Twosome played in a little over three hours, however we played in the middle of the day and seldom saw other golfers. Highly recommend.
Jones Course
This is an awesome course with beautiful scenery and is very well maintained. I see why the have Champions tour event held here. Thanks Golf Now for the great deal. JB
beautiful surroundings
-shot selection is very important.
-would help to have someone along who has played
course.
-greens are very fast, spend a lot of time on the practice green.
-need direction markers from hole to hole.
-weather was great.
-was not crowded
-was well worth the cost
-had great time and will return
