The 9th at Eagle Crest Challenge course. This is a long 120 from the White's and 15 short is way worse than 15 long. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 11/26/2012

There are benches on this course for good reason. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012

Cheap, but not worth it.
The course and resort are well known and I have played there many times. For whatever reason, the golf staff has really gone downhill. During play, the front desk guys were trying to get a round in and hit into us. We were behind players with a toddler who were behind others. We waited on every tee box. Then another attendant drove straight down our fairway as we were addressing our tee shots. Needless to say, we finished in the dark and were less than impressed by the staff and fuzzy greens. Employees at upscale resorts would be fired for this behavior.
poor treatment for resort course
Resort course without customer service for the price of golf. No bag drop or help with clubs, pay extra for range balls, no help with clubs at end of round. This would be a fine muni type course if the cost was more reasonable. Good design on starting & ending holes with wide open holes in the middle. enjoyed the pace of play & scenery.
Great experience
Reasonably priced, course was in excellent shape, greens were meticulous and staff was friendly.
Tricky greens
Great conditions made for good play but those greens did us in. Very hard to read and very even. Staff and volunteers were welcoming. Would recommend to friends, worth the drive from Bend.
Excellent fairway and fast greens
Mid summer and the fairways and greens were in excellent condition. No weeds all nice green grass and thick
great place
Friendly regulsrs that play there not sure if tourist understand slow play ethics of letting faster players play through. Could use better marsheling on weekends. Always have great time playing. Best course conditions in bend and redmond. Highly recomend. If you have young beginners challenge course is for you
Fantastic!
This was the first time playing this course and I can't say enough about it. Easy to get into trouble but not that hard to stay out of it. So fun and interesting.
It is a beautiful course
I don't know if the golf course knows what we paid for 18 holes or not, but they charged us $34.00 for our cart. We have never paid that much before. Probably will not go back for that reason!
eaglecrest, nice but ...
Had a nice round, the staff was extremely helpful and nice, but @ the golf now price of $74 (same as the pro shop price) + the cart at a total of $105, this course is way overpriced.
Best par 3 course!!
Can't say enough about this awesome
course!! Greens are perfectly maintained
And fairways are impeccable .
susan
Easy , relaxing round of golf. Played it easily in 3 hours. Lots of bunkers. Well maintained.
Good 18 Holes
Eagle Crest Challenge course is a good par 3/4 course. The greens are well maintained and holes are just enough work for a intermediate golfer.
Glorious day made up for slow play
What a beautiful course and day. The 2nd hole is as amazing as promised. Elevated tee to a tricky canyon. Long rough. If you hit into it say farewell to your ball. Tricky greens. Want another chance at a few.
Very friendly staff. Course Marshall could have helped a bit more with the very slow 3some in front of us. They didn't let us through until the last par 3. We were in our car and leaving before they finished 18.
No cart service which seemed odd for a warm holiday weekend. Pretty parched by the end.
Quite the Challenge
Stay in the fairways or you will pay the price. Quick greens, rough rough.
Great Resort Golf
Enjoyable course, well kept, well groomed, but slow greens all the way around. Very walkable course as long as you can climb a few hills. Friendly staff with a nice pro-shop and practice facility.
Great 3.5 hour golf on excellent course
The course is alternating par 3 and par 4. All requiring the ball be kept in play. Greens are small, a bit slow with a noticeable difference between up grain or down. They are typical public greens, bit hard and rarely hold a wedge. Play to expect roll on approach shots. Couple of greens don't match rest and are fast. Sand traps are bunkers. Fairways are rolling and rough is natural high desert. Easy to loose balls here. Nice layout with good visuals. Must be in shape to walk it, good size distance between holes. Women's tees offer real distance from mens on most holes making this good couple course. Overall, very good course to keep your game in shape. Very friendly staff, nice facilities, and easy to finish 18 in 3.5 hours.
Afternoon Play
We played in the afternoon. The wind was a bit of a factor but not bad. On the back nine we had the course to ourselves, no one either in front or in back of us. The greens were slower than some of the other Central Oregon courses we have played this week, but rolled true.
Excellent course but very slow play
Most enjoyable course and quite challenging. Somewhat spoiled by very slow play.
Not impressed
Normally Eagle Crest always is a good choice. But, the slow play that started on the 2nd hole, turned into a round just under 5 hours. Only after calling in did a marshal talk to the group ahead, but it didn't change anything. The greens were in poor shape and so slow!
nice finish to vacation
very nice to walk, weather was a bit cool though, fairways lush, greens very good, was a nice end to vacation of golf.
