The 9th at Eagle Crest Challenge course. This is a long 120 from the White's and 15 short is way worse than 15 long. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 11/26/2012

There are benches on this course for good reason. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012

The Par 5 4th hole at Eagle Crest Resort - Ridge Course Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012
The course was in decent shape.
Nothing overly special. The course is kept in nice shape, even considering the time of the year. There's enough to make it challenging on certain holes. Though still playable for most levels of play.
lives up to its name
I like the course, and have played it about 7-8 times. A good healthy walk( I am almost 74 yrs). Had 3 birdies, and played one over. It is a good test of accuracy off the tee, and your short game...both chipping and putting. Oh, and sand, even though I wasn't in any traps this day. Lots of them, and pretty tough.
Very good course
Played the Ridge for the 1st time…nice layout for walking, course in very good shape for March.Greens were smooth, and reasonably fast. Plenty of interest and challenge for most players. Some nice views, and peaceful environment. Pro shop staff and starter were very courteous.
Fun short course
My wife and I played here for the 2nd time, course in decent shape, only 2 hrs 50 minutes walking…we caught up to the foursome ahead of us at the 9th, which slowed us down a bit, but pace was good. Lots of par 3's and short par 4's…fun round!
Good course
Nice course in good condition for time of year .As for the guy behind the counter get a new job your not a people person.he was very put off with having to answer questions.
Good value
A good course to walk and the greens were in good shape for March.
Still a Favorite
One can enjoy a quick 18 holes of challenging golf here. Every hole is unique. In winter shape now, but still worth the money.
Great Value
The greens were a little wet, but overall very nice course. I wish the pin flags were normal height, pretty hard to judge distance.
Fabulous challenge course!!
Great course, I've recommended to many!!
Even tho it is a par 3 course, I feel it is one of the best
in Central Oregon.
slick greens
The challenge is always great fun to play. The course was in exellent shape, and the greens were slick the day I played it. Went from the purple tees which bounce you all over the place, you use all of the tees when going from the purple tees. The weather was great for this time of year. We saw numerous deer on nearly every hole. It was,as usual, a great experience.
fun to play
course was in great condition, greens we fast and undulating. not busy so we when our own pace.
great day of golf
I recently played both the Ridge course and the resort course. They were both in great shape but I really liked the Ridge course better. The fairways were wide and the greens very receptive. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would play here again.
Great warm up course with a challenge. The staff worked with me to adjust my tee time and in the end this was a very pleasant day.
Shot course but each hole can be a challenge. To get in 18 holes and in less than 4 hours this is the course to play.
Very nice golf outing and would recommend this for other golfers.
Very friendly staff and helpful with my change of tee times that i made through GOLF NOW.
Great course
Tough course in excellent condition. Good variety of holes. Fun to play.
Very easy to set up t time.
would have loved to get a cart because the course is quite long and hilly..But cost of cart was way to high so walked instead. Other then that, it is a fun rather hard course
A well-balanced course
The Resort Course at Eagle Crest offers up a good balance of challenge and playability. Shot strategy is important on several holes to keep hazards out of play or even put the ball on the fairway - Can you hit a draw? Go ahead and pull out the driver. No? Better go with a 3 wood or you risk carrying the fairway and playing a blind approach shot from ugly tall grass...... We've played here several times over the last few years and always enjoy it.
A challenging and fun short course that requires use of most of the clubs in your bag
Truly a fun course that presents a challenge because of slopes and contours and the need to use all clubs - even driver!
Greens are well maintained, quick and somewhat tricky and rough was high and difficult when the ball settled.
The Challenge is a great place for a 3-3 1/2 hour round, walkable for the fit but involves some short climbs and is a fair value, and a super value on some tee-times.
Would recommend to any player except those who want to boom driver on 14 holes because you can only hit driver on 4-5 holes.
Nice track
Tee boxes beat up, recently aerated probably. Hitting fairways are key, due to all the small humps and hills that lead to sidehill/downhill/uphill lies. Boring back and forth front 9, back 9 a little more interesting. I walked the course, would recommend a cart due to long distance between holes.
A very fair challenge for any level of player
Every hole is different with plenty of risk/reward shot potentials
