The 9th at Eagle Crest Challenge course. This is a long 120 from the White's and 15 short is way worse than 15 long. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 11/26/2012

There are benches on this course for good reason. Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012

The Par 5 4th hole at Eagle Crest Resort - Ridge Course Photo submitted by Jemayer230 on 10/20/2012
Nice Course!
Overall, the course was in great shape. The fairway and greens were excellent. We had to play ahead a hole because of a very slow playing group in front of us.
Great short game practice
This is a great course to play if you’re working on your shirt game and iron play. I found an amazing deal on GolfNow for two of us was a great deal with cart. Had it have not been for that deal? I probably wouldn’t pay the high prices that they charge both on the ridge and the resort course along with the challenge. Personally, I think you’re putting yourselves out of the market and would get so much more if the price was more reasonable you drive to Prineville for 31, 9918 and that’s a third of what is charged at the resorts. Just saying!
Poor pace of play!
I'm local and have played this since it opened, this has always been my go to course, living in Redmond makes it nice. Lately if noticed that the pace has been getting slower and slower, bit this time it was unbelievable, group in front was visiting neighbors. Probably sat an average of 10-15 mins per hole. I'm in no way a complainer but I stopped playing Juniper and Meadows for this same reason. Just the good old days in central Oregon playing golf, courses we're not trying to squeeze in a packed day.
Another beautiful day at The Challenge course
Beautiful day. Great pace of play. Course in excellent condition.
Great spot
Fairways and greens were an excellent condition. Staff was super friendly, especially check-in. Pace was excellent. We finished our round in 3 1/2 hours. Good times.
The Challenge at Eagle Crest
Course conditions were really good. Clean, raked, very good first to second cuts. Greens were flawless. Trap sand texture was occasionally defluffed from over watering. Beverage cart was timely.
Great course great value
Love playing this course it’s the most forgiving course in the area.
Very enjoyable day
Enjoyed the course design - especially the greens and green complexes. Thoughtful design where we would enjoy it more the 2nd and 3rd time when you start to know where you want to place yourself.
Excellent conditions. Wide driving areas so it was mostly easy to keep the ball in play.but a big advantage for hitting the fairway. Liked that.
This is a fun course.
The course is not long but is challenging. Hence the name. It is well maintained and pretty.
Very nice course
Beautiful course. It was summer and hot. But, still not unbearable. Beverage cart never made it back to us after the first hole.
