Summer at Running Y
Have always enjoyed playing this great course and this time is no different. Course is in excellent shape within greens running around 10. I love the tee box set up here. The Umbrella (front) tees make it very enjoyable for women & shorter hitting players. They give those players an honest chance of making the green in regulation. It also helps keeps the pace of play up.
We played 2 days on this trip & enjoyed perfect weather & course conditions.
Hidden gem
This is a great golf course and reasonably priced. Challenging but fair. Greens and fairways are in pristine condition, especially given the challenge of hot and dry weather. The greens crew deserve some kudos, very impressed!!!!
Great Course
I played here on consecutive days (79/73). The difference was on day two, I hit a few lucky shots and I adapted to the greens. It's a course that makes you use a variety of shots. The greens roll very nicely, but might be a little tricky the first time around. There was hardly anyone on the course (Monday and Tuesday around noon). The weather was perfect and the folks in the pro shop were very friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone. Great bang for the buck.
Nice layout
Enjoyed my round, only real complaint is that the greens were extremely firm which was compounded with the many evaluated greens.
Great and good value
This course is super fun, great shape, very nice support and would definitely play again
Running Y
A great course in a county setting, each hole has its own personality, a must play.
Disappointing
The Golf Now should price to include a cart, impossible to walk in n a warm day@ 94 degrees. The time I signed up for had only 1 opening, anticipating I would be playing with others. I was sent out as a single. Openings were available to pair earlier. I was refused by golf shop staff.
Course conditions: greens were excellent. Fairways were spongy, lots of thatch. Green approaches were inconsistent; firm and others wet with ball pulling in the approach.
Golf cart gps was nice and accurate. USB port was appreciated. Sand bottles and ice cooler were empty. No tees in cart.
Rainy Day
Rained most the day but course held up phenomenally and proved its ability to drain well. Greens held true with very little areas of puddling. Definitely one of the best courses in southern Oregon! Will be back!
