Salishan Coastal Lodge & Spa is located on the Oregon coast overlooking Siletz Bay less than a two-hour drive from Portland. This 205-room lodge dates back to 1965 and features an 18-hole golf course that was renovated in 2004 by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. The golf club also has a grass putting course and full driving range. Salishan has a full-service spa onsite as well as a tennis center, fitness center and indoor pool. Another unique amenity is the nearby aerial park set high up in the trees. There are four onsite restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining and there is also a wine cellar. Room types include traditional guestrooms and larger suites and deluxe rooms. Each unit also includes a private balcony, refrigerator, fireplace and more.Facts

Plugged and sanded . Rude staff
No notification that the greens were sanded.
The poor quest i played with got no discount. They played at an overpriced full rate. Nobody was happy.
Staff didn't give a crap and said he hates tee off.
Fun Course
Beautiful day and course was in great condition. Very fair yet challenging. Items in clubhouse an bit overpriced. Best deals on green fees are through GolfNow.
Beautiful day, paired with some very nice folks and enjoyed the round. Course in very good shape, a little windy on second 9 but not too much. Premier course on this part of OR coast
Disappointed that mowing made fairways hard to play
Most fairways, especially on back nine, were covered with climbs of wet grass clippings. Balls in the fairway were stopped by piles of grass. It was very disappointing to to to find the course in this condition.
NICE COURSE!
GREENS WERE IN GREAT SHAPE. GORGEOUS DAY. PACE OF PLAY WAS ALITTLE SLOW. 4.5 HOURS
Can’t way to go back!!!
Great course. Challenging, yet able to score if you play well. The difference between the front 9 and the back 9 are soooo different, trees to open /ocean views. The clubhouse is wonderful, carts with gps, and the staff was very friendly.
Would play again!
Course was challenging, and despite a rough score, would gladly try my luck again. Really good shape for the most part, course layout was fun and not too much need to yell fore out there. Course starter was very friendly and helpful. Lost a box of balls out there, but also found a few.
It was a great day.
My playing partner and I played a bestball scramble. We carded a 3 over par for the round. We were paired with another single who was a real mellow, young man. And he shot a great round. The pace of play was excellent, especially for being on a weekend. We finished in just under four hours.

Great course, challenging layout, greens a little bumpy but otherwise an outstanding day
Over sold so played in a 5-some…very compatible people, but 5 hour round…too much time on course. Still enjoyed getting out to play this demanding course, as always… and not much wind on second nine this time.
Slow and windy
There was a strong wind blowing, and it was coming from the south, which is really unusual. I booked a 2-some, but we got paired with two other singles. The pace was slow, but not ridiculous. The Marshall showed up and he asked groups ahead of us to pick up the pace. They did. The overall course was in pretty good shape, but the greens were a little bumpy.
