Poor Cart Cleanliness
The first three carts would not start and we're all filthy. The fourth cart started but had to clean and disinfect the cart from top to bottom. Imagine the county would shut them down if they new about the lack of cleaning and disinfecting of the carts between uses.
Pricey but nice
Nice course with some excellent views of the ocean. Feel it is overpriced by $10 to $20 compared to other courses in area.
A Home that could use a little polish
The golf course could be great. Not sure if it was the end of the season blues. Traps needed work. Tee boxes needed mowing and raking. Greens were good. Cart paths needed repair. I would pay 65 to 75 for a round. My expectation for 110 was looking for better conditions. Staff was excellent.
Wonderful course to play. Beautiful ocean views on back 9
Salishan not what it used to be
I've played Salishan golf links multiple times per year but not a member. Apparently under new ownership x 1 year and it closed completely for almost two months. No maintenance done until the members themselves kicked in to hire someone to just cut the fairways. It is always a little wet but the mowing is extremely uneven and very long in the fairways, not much roll despite late summer. Greens in good shape. I used to pay $75 with cart for a round and it was much better maintained. I wouldn't pay 90-100 for it in this condition.
This is a wonderful course with beautiful ocean and forest scenery.
Salishan golf course was in good condition considering the bad storm we had on Labor Day that up rooted many of the trees. Tom, the maintenance staff and volunteers did a fantastic job in clearing debris. This is a great course and always challenging.
Too much for too little
Course Pro Shop didn’t open until 8am. My tee time was 8am. So I waited for 45 minutes for the shop to open up and process my greens fees. No warm, up,, straight to the first tee. My overall opinion is good for this course but for $110 I’d like better accommodations.
Mountain and Ocean course.
The front side has plenty of trees and bunkers. The back nine has beautiful ocean views, along with long par fours, great course to play for the weekend.
okay place to play
early tee time on the front nine is like playing in the water. a lot of wind on the back nine.
