Great condition for the time of year
Two days into Spring time and course was cut. Greens were extremely soft and pretty slow but we're in great shape except for needing rolled. All in all course was in very good condition.
Beautiful layout!
Course was a nice challenge. For the time of year, it was in great shape.
Good course
Course is in good condition some holes require thought before you hit because they bend around quite a bit
I have been playing here for 30+ years
I have played here since the 70's. The overall maintenance has dropped every year. This use to be one of the best maintained courses in the area but sadly, not now. A big drop occurred when Wayne Conley sold the course to St. Barnabas. What does a retirement business know about a golf course. They cant even open the restaurant or lounge, what a waste! Oh, they charge you more if you make a tee time by phone in advance then by using Golf Now, maybe they dont want me a loyal customer. Worst of all they let young guys play music on the course, very annoying.
Great course layout
We play this course as often as possible and are never disappointed. It is challenging .
Blind shots and Narrow
This course had so many blind tee shots and even second shots. Combining this with narrow holes means there are golfers crossing fairways every other hole. The course is decent value, but it definitely deserve the 4 star average that it has
Pitiful Pace
The pace was pathetic for a weekend and I think that’s supposed to just be accepted but I refuse to accept that. Cart paths are a minefield at this place and the rough is thicker than Rosie ODonnel. Greens and fairways were fine. Main issue was pace, just people everywhere, constantly waiting on each and every shot.
The golf isnt the issue
Great course and conditions. There is only one thing that is a negative about this place. It seems like every male employee in the starter shack either hates their jobs or the people that work for. OR They just don't like people in general. Ive been there 4 times now. And have still had a pleasant experience with even one male employee. So if you don't mind being treated like a nuisance. It's a nice play.
Good course for any level player
This is a nice average course. No water or sand, but the rough is thick and rough, and many greens are protected by thick grass patches in front (grass bunkers? Idk) that inhibit you from rolling onto the green.
Pace was good today and for most days I've played, and I like the clubhouse/grill afterwards. Friendly people and a decent sandwich.
