Linden Hall
About Linden Hall
Linden Hall touts itself as "one of Pennsylvania's best secrets". This 785-acre estate is home to a historic 74-room lodge and a 6,405-yard golf course that winds up and down the region's rolling hills. The 8,720-square-foot Linden Hall mansion contains 35 rooms, 27 fireplaces, 13 baths, an indoor bowling alley and walk-in clothes dryer. An Aeolian pipe organ, one of three in the world, could be heard throughout the first and third floors when played. Today, the mansion, dating to 1913, is used by the United Steel Workers of America. The Club Pub restaurant overlooking the 18th fairway, a heated outdoor pool and hiking/biking trails are available.Facts

Great layout and price
Linden Hall is always in great condition. Greens roll true, fairways and tee boxes in great shape. Staff is always friendly.
Linden Hall never disappoints
We love the layout of Linden Hall. It’s challenging, yet friendly.
Terrible Experience
I am from Pittsburgh and was not told either by golf now or the golf course that there was a bridge out to the golf course. There was a detour established which took me at least 10 miles out of my way plus the detour was not marked at the last turn so I missed the turn and ended up another 9 miles away having to backtrack to the point of the missed turn to get to the course. I do not know these country roads out there and have never been out there so I was totally unfamiliar with the route. Undoubtedly the worst experience I have ever had on Golf Now and maybe the worst experience I have ever had golfing. No one at the course seemed to care or even cared to apologize for this issue, as a matter of fact they were pretty rude.
Never told about reroute
There is a bridge out for the direct route to the course. I was never informed about this situation prior to scheduling this round of golf or I would never have chosen this course. This was definitely unfair for Linden Hall not to inform golfers of this issue or for Golf now to with hold this information from golfers. There is at least a 20 mile reroute from where I am coming from to get to the course and more so for me because the last part of thendetour is not labeled and being unfamiliar with the area I missed the last turn which was not marked. This put me another 10 miles out of my way. It was by far the most frustrating experience I have ever had on Golf Now in My many years of using this service.
Tee time
The course is in great condition. My only gripe is the starter don’t get the golf now persons start time. The start time is empty showing the starter an open start time.
Nice course in all respects.
Course layout, conditions, greens were all 5 star, especially considering the lack of rain in July. There were only a couple of temporary senior teeing areas that were in less than ideal condition, this is my favorite course in the area and worth the drive and price.
Play Linden Hall
No more gnats! Fairways in good condition despite the lack of rain. Greens could be faster, but are understandably not cut low. They weren’t slow. A good challenge.
One of the best courses
The layout is great and the greens hold fantastic. Even in this some what drought. Carts are very nice also . Only draw back is if you like to warm up there is no driving range.
As usual
The condition of the course doesn't change much. Always in good shape although this has been a tough year with drought conditions. Still, the playing surfaces were in very good shape.
I travel 45 miles to play this course. I played in the morning and took 3 hours to played 18 holes which to me is pretty good. Did not have to wait to play on any of the holes. I love the course, so come on out and play, you’ll have a great day
Beautiful course. Large fast greens that roll true. Fairways are fairly wide to where if you slice or draw the ball you are not in trouble. Staff are very friendly. Must play course if you want a good time.
Great course and value
Linden Hall always on great shape. Love the layout. Friendly staff
Best value in the area
Best value for the money in the area. Back 9 has beautiful views. Well kept course.
Very nice course. My only complaint is the group in front of me had a go pro and filmed every shot. I will play again
