Course Closure- Short Notice
Had a 1:10 tee time for 4 people. Received a call from course about 30 min prior that course was closing for the day.
Unfortunately, we had a 45 min drive to get to course and we were only 15 min away.
With $5.00 per gallon for gas, was a total loss.
Probably should give people at least an hour notice prior to closure.
Great Course
The course was in excellent condition. Extremely nice views from every hole. It was a very challenging course but fun to play. I’d recommend to anyone
Boys Trip
Starter nasty. Older gentlemen. Could hear him complaining on radio when we checked in. Maybe move him away from the customers? Other guy in short sleeve pullover came out to help us and was very nice and friendly. Course in good shape and we enjoyed ourselves. Rough could be cut back a bit and greens a little thick in spots but a very fun challenging course. Especially #1 always a B### breaker.
Scenic, many blind shots, greens a little shaggy
Some very scenic holes, interesting layout and helpful staff. Greens were slow and a little bumpy and some bunkers needed some maintenance. Overall, enjoyable and interesting, but could have been even better.
Course review
The course was in good condition. Since it is the middle of May, there was a lot of grass seeding ( to be expected ). I have a feeling in a couple of weeks the greens will run quite a bit faster. Overall a happy experience.
Course itself was great. But we got done playing at 530 and the proshop and food were closed. Very dissapointed we couldn't get a bite to eat and a beer after the round
Challenging course with many blind shots. Big, fair greens. Few flat areas. Well maintained. A lot of fun to play
adventuris
every hole a new adventure. loved the “no see “em” holes. some completely unfair. fairways and rough spots trimmed very nicely. green were beautiful. once past the tough 1st hole the days is very enjoyable. clean equipment t and very cheerful staffers made the checkin and send start on a positive note.
Very nice but very challenging
Beautiful course. Very long and I would give it about an 8.5 or 9 for challenging. Greens had been aerated but we’re pretty well rolled and sanded. They were a little slow but consistent. The first hole is an uphill bear with blind second and an approach over water. I am a 23 handicapped duffer but I shot a 106. Traps were well-maintained but very easy to roll into. Pace of play was fine and the starter was organized and courteous. We played the gold tees which provided significant advantage on several holes but very little on the long par fives. I would play it again.
SLOW
Signs everywhere about pace of play. No one enforcing. Took nearly 3 hours for front 9. Waited on every shot.
