Beautiful course
What a beautiful course. Very challenging and enjoyable. The green had been punched, which made putting more difficult, but it still made for a great day of golf.
Disappointing
Front 9 closed due to aeration. Back 9 recently aerated. No indication of that prior to arriving
Fall round at the Bedford Springs Old Course
Excellent Donald Ross course in the Pennsylvania mountains.
Never disappointed
Course is always in immaculate condition and a pleasure to play. Usually pace of play is superb, was very busy this day and took 5 hours.
Must Play
Bedford is a must play by any golfer. The course was in excellent shape for the fall and the pace of play was very fast. The greens are a challenge and take patience and time to look at from multiple angles. The course is worth the money.
Always a great course, just another beautiful day golfing with my friends!
Course was wet but playable. Cart path only but do to my health problems I was given a flag allowing me to do 90 degrees. Which I deeply appreciated. Very little roll in fairways. The greens were in great shape as always. The weather the beautiful. Looking forward to playing again next week.
Top 3 Golf Courses I ever played
This was my first time playing here and I absolutely fell in love. It was gorgeous and in amazing shape. Staff was super friendly and the amenities were outstanding. The pace of play was as expected but everyone was great. I can't wait to play this course again. I absolutely loved it, well done.
Great Conditions and Friendly Staff
You won't find a course with better conditions from tee to green. The par 3s on the front are very challenging and the par 5s are 3 shot holes for most everyone with the exception of #9. The standard price is steep at $149 during the week but I was able to get Hot Deal through Golfnow for $98. $98 is still a lot for a round IMO but I'm okay with it a few times a year if the conditions and experience are as good as they were at the Old Course. The staff was friendly with extra kudos to Lacy on the beverage cart, she is awesome. Other than the pricey green fees my only complaint was they did not have Tillie's open at all during the week for a pre or post meal and cocktails.
Outstanding course
Nicest people operating the greatest course, and maintained like none other. Totally OUTSTANDING
