Treat yourself
Very high price.....but they didn't skimp on maintenance! There seemed to be more groundskeepers than golfers, and that doesn't include the army of robot mowers patrolling the fringes and rough. Simple beautiful, you could eat off the fairways. Greens not too fast (it's a resort course after all) but challenging nonetheless. Choose the correct tees to play from and enjoy the scenery!!
Pristine & Challenging
Course is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. Greens were undulating, fast, and pin placements were sometimes cruel. It is pricey, but worth a special treat. We played Sunday afternoon at 4pm, and there was no beverage cart service for us, which was worse because the turn is nowhere near the clubhouse, and there were no other options for refreshment after you go out there.
Great course and amazing staff
As always the staff was amazing and made our trip more than enjoyable. We were running late for our tee time and they accommodated us without a question asked. The staff is mainly addicted golfers who really go out of their way to make you feel at home. I have been bless to play some of the greatest golf courses in the world but with their world call course and the combination of down to earth staff this is one of my truly favorite places. Can’t wait to play again.
Golf at Bedford Springs
Just the viewing of the course when you drive up to it”wow this course looks great”
And it does not disappoint.
Very friendly staff both when you enter the parking lot and also when you go to the pro shop for registration.
Carts are very new and quite speedy compared to other courses. Very accurate gps in the carts.
The course is very well maintained and is very challenging especially hole 4, a par 3 which is 214 yards and all uphill and plays more like 225 with a 2 Tier green that was very fast. So, Good Luck with this hole😃
I would really recommend this course to anyone that has not played it yet.
Aeration
Arrived at course and checked in. Got cart but then was told that half the holes were closed for aeration. Like 1 thru 3 and then 14 thru 18. Young man inside did not know about the aeration and the ranger had just found out. I ask for a rain check but was very disappointed after driving over an hour to play the course. Hopefully no issue with rain check in the future.
Breathtaking
One of the nicest, parkland designs you’ll ever play. Always windy, greens are quite challenging with heavy undulation, but the scenery and immaculate conditions more than make up for the extra 10 strokes on your score card. Probably my sixth or seventh time playing this course, and the conditions have never been anything less than perfect. Maintenance staff needs a fat bonus.
Golfers dream experience
An amazing golf experience. The Bedford Springs in October is the absolute perfect setting for any golfer. The challenges of the course, the amazing scenery, the course layout. The challenging greens did not disappoint. The fairways left me speechless. Top notch! It may have been a rainy afternoon, but it was worth it. A perfect round of 18 on a fall afternoon.
Whats all the hype about
Course was just ok, no way a $250 track..we did teeoff.com for $139 ea and still not a $100 course..and the knats were so bad we almost quit after 9....
Excellent golf course
A beautiful day in May & a wonderful, well maintained course. Excellent service as befits a 5* course, The evening rates were affordable. It was a pleasure to play.
Never disappoints
Even after full course aeration and moving further into fall, they always do a great job with the course. The best part is the off season rates which makes it even better. My golf buddy said if this might be the last time we get to golf here this season then no better place to go.
Wow, wow, wow
Challenging, but fun day of golf- in November, no less! Beautiful surroundings with mountains all around. Course had been aerated a couple of weeks ago, but pretty much healed. Never did crack the code on the greens. Undulation and easy to putt off with bunkers on guard. Par 5’s are long and most were beyond my ability to get on in regulation. Most of the par 3’s are short, but not easy with significant elevation changes.
It was a great day of fall golf!
