About Pocono Manor Resort & Spa
Life changed at Pocono Manor on Nov. 1, 2019, when a fire ripped through the historic inn, causing significant damage that's led to an ongoing closure. Although there are plans to renovate and rebuild, only the golf course is currently open. Currently, golfers looking to stay and play the historic course can book accommodations at nearby partner properties through the resort website. There is food available in the clubhouse.Facts

Golf RD
Kind of a hidden secret.
Nice wide fairways with small fast greens.
Definitely get back to this one!
Pace was ridiculously slow
I normally love this course. I think the layout is interesting and challenging. But our round was over 5 hours - and that was at the 15th hole. We just gave up.
They simply release too many players. This day they released 16 members of a bachelors party during prime time. They were all drinking and terrible. Not an ounce of golf etiquette. There are signs forbidding outside alcohol but The starter told us he would turn a blind eye to booze.
One old ranger driving around not doing a thing.
We’ll never golf here on a weekend again.
Decent
The greens are like postage stamps. They’re all the same size. Relatively short course for golfers that could drive the ball over 250. Nice condition however and the scenery is beautiful. Slow pace of play due to the course being pretty short. Has a nice driving range and secondary putting and chipping green, which is a short drive near the 3rd hole. Haven’t tried the food as of yet.
Old style.
This unique little gem will surprise you around every turn on its bumpy paths.
Par fives are reachable in two.
The down hill pat three is a flip of a wedge..
Go golf this old course.
Best I’ve seen it👌
Couldn’t be more pleased with course conditions.
Hats off, to the Grounds crew they should be very proud of their hard work.
Fairways and greens were immaculate.
Will be going back ASAP..
Perfect conditions
Course was in the best shape, that I’ve ever seen it.
5/2/24..Fairways were cut perfectly & greens were lightning fast. 5*
5/7/24.. Similar conditions except greens were a little softer and more receptive because of the rain. 4 1/2*
Nice track
Played this course for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. It offers a nice layout. The staff were super friendly. The price was very reasonable. We got slowed down on the back nine but it wasn’t torture😉 We would play here again if in this area.
What could be
100 year old course , hotel that burned down, yet this is a fun place to play. Yes it needs a face lift. Hopefully someone will see the potential. Love to see this course get back to it glory days.
New season
Course was in OK condition, given we are very early in the NEPA season, Tee boxes and fairways were pretty good. Greens were fast but a bit mushy. Staff, as usual, were very pleasant and helpful.
Spring golf
It’s early April and we’re playing golf and it’s 70°. It really doesn’t get much better than that in the Poconos. The course considering we had snow week ago and rain seems like forever in the Poconos is in terrific shape. We played on a Tuesday the car was out, it was a great day to play golf.
Awful pace of play
Have played this course multiple times, each time has taken 5.5 hours. No marshals to enforce pace of play or letting people play through. Once was stuck behind a group giving each other lessons as I’m waiting on the tee box. Greens are in decent shape. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Course would be 10x better if they actually enforced pace.
