About Pocono Manor Resort & Spa
Life changed at Pocono Manor on Nov. 1, 2019, when a fire ripped through the historic inn, causing significant damage that's led to an ongoing closure. Although there are plans to renovate and rebuild, only the golf course is currently open. Currently, golfers looking to stay and play the historic course can book accommodations at nearby partner properties through the resort website. There is food available in the clubhouse.Facts

Ball washers need water :)
We played this morning, 04/11/2023 and the course is in excellent condition for this time of year. Greens are cut and very puttable. Coolers on the course are full of cold drinking water.
If the maintenance staff is reading this, please put the plugs in the ball washers and fill them ;). Thank you.
Good course friendly staff
Recently played there course condition were good greens played fast. The only I was disappointed about no golf beverage cart was there that day and bar was closed. It's a shame they lose so much revenue . They need to hire the proper people to run the food and beverage.
Good value
Played this course 10 times . The cart girls very friendly and polite both Sasha and Rebecca are out standing employees and they should recognized for the good work.the gentlemen giving you the golf carts are polite and they keep the golf carts clean and ready to go . Pro shop well stocked and the staff are there to answer any questions you have. I am thinking of joining the course .
Course Condition
The rain has definitely helped to soften up the fairways and greens. But the cart paths are atrocious.
Phenomenal old-style course
Unlike most Poconos courses, this has generally wide fairways. Very interesting layouts with some blind pins, but all are manageable. Some VERY long par 4s (one was 480 from the whites), but the course was built before these things were standardized. Few sand bunkers, but a lot of original waste areas. Fast Donald Ross domed greens, so be prepared to be confused. Loved it.
Yeah, the cart paths need work, but who cares?
Lastly, I found the course to be several strokes harder than the rating indicates.
A fun course
Still effective course after 110 years. Donald Ross architecture holds up. Played green tees. First two par 3s are fun and have a very small margin for success ( the other two are also good).
Mounds abound!
Could have been better
Strange layout. I was lucky and was teamed with 3 locals. Having someone guide you around the couse was a big help. Some tee boxes and fairways required maintenance. Greens overall were in great shape, but a few had bare spots near the edging.
Pocono Manor Golf Course
A really interesting layout that was well maintained and a joy to play.
