About Pocono Manor Resort & Spa
Life changed at Pocono Manor on Nov. 1, 2019, when a fire ripped through the historic inn, causing significant damage that's led to an ongoing closure. Although there are plans to renovate and rebuild, only the golf course is currently open. Currently, golfers looking to stay and play the historic course can book accommodations at nearby partner properties through the resort website. There is food available in the clubhouse.Facts

Terrific round
Tough greens highlight a well designed, challenging course. The 77 yard par 3 seventh is a wonderful challenge, if you’re in the area, it’s a must play.
Needs major work or it’ll fail
From the moment you pull into the lot it’s not good. A beat up parking lot with pot holes, a “sports club” that looks worse off than most kids summer camps well worn buildings. I tried to give it the college try but the more I played it the less I liked it.
The buildings need Bull dozed under. No charm as the website suggests. Folks were friendly enough. No issues. The layout isn’t bad but a fair amount of blind shots. There hasn’t been rain lately but I lost a ball in a fairway with standing water. Oddly placed moguls though.
The overall care of the grasses on all areas wasn’t too bad but no where close to a resort standard. It was passable although there weren’t many traps for a Ross design. The greens were over wet and held approach shots but for the wrong reason.
Unless they announce a major takeover or millions in improvements I’d avoid this course. There are
Many in the area that don’t cost much more and are public and tons better.
Friendly staff; just average course conditions
We were greeted and our clubs were loaded onto the cart for us. The course was in average condition. The cart paths were in serious need of repair. A few of the golf holes were quirky. Lots of hills. Play was very slow.
Really nice course. The staff was friendly and helpful. Laid back atmosphere. The only problem was it rained about 2 inches the night before and a tropical storm the week before , so the course was wet. Nothing that could be done about that. Beautiful scenery. We seen alot of deer. I will play here again.
Great golf course
This is a great golf course I recommend this place to anyone come play and you will enjoy the day
Nope
Go find somewhere else to play. Needs some serious work, very slow play.
Not bad
Course a bit soggy, but we recently had about 6 inch of rain. Greens could use more work. However, overall, course was playable,
Glimpse of yesterday!
A vintage golf course with lots of old charm. Greens are very fair and they rolled true. Fairways are a little thin here and there but these mountain courses in the Pocono’s seem to be that way. The greens also have character and they require attention when putting.
A really nice looking golf course as most holes are just in the woods with no houses or condos. If you find yourself in the area enjoy an historic round!
