Tee grounds, fairways, greens all in bad shape.

Tough especially if playing for the first time..blind shots and funny layouts. May consider skipping this for some of the other courses in the area.

Great layout, in great shape but, a difficult course. You will not have a flat lie all day. Not a course for beginners.

Course looks like it use to be in great shape but has since been abandoned. The greens are not the worst but the tee boxes and fairways have been let go. Every garbage can was overflowing; the ball cleaners were filled with mud; trash throughout the woods; landscaping hasn’t been done. Beautiful Sunday and no one on the course. I don’t see this course lasting much longer unless new ownership comes in and dumps a ton into it. Sad it has a nice layout and it’s challenging.

First time playing this course and it was not very fun. Greens we’re in bad shape, tee boxes were uneven and didn’t even have grass to put your tee through. Layout was a little odd most of the shots being blind off the tee which was annoying. I was annoyed but the foursome of grandparents however as they wouldn’t let my twosome pass through. “ play the time you payed for ! “ overall me and my father will not be coming back here course was not very good.

Great challenging course - would have given 5 stars but all restrooms were full of fecal matter

VERY DRY...SOME GREENS WERE BURNT AND NOT VERY PLAYABLE WITH LOTS OF DRIED AREAS -- NOT SPOTS BUT MAYBE 1/3 OR 1/2 OF THE GREEN BURNT. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COURSE IN THE CURRENT CONDITION.

this is a typical mountain course . very hilly and very tough. There was hardly anyone on the course so the pace of play was excellent. course is in great condition except a couple of holes

Nice layout but poor conditions. I’ve played this course before and the conditions were much better than what I found this round. Large dry patches in the middle of the fairways and on the greens. For the price I paid I would expect better conditions. I realize we haven’t had much rain but whoever does the groundskeeping here really needs to do a better job.

Would play this course anytime. Excellent condition and nice challenging layout. Too many not fixed ballmarks on greens. Not courses fault

Don’t know where to start. Staff was kind of rude when we entered the clubhouse. The mens locker room was disgusting. One toilet closed another filled with waste, trash all over the floor. Teed off at about 8:30, never saw a bev cart till the 18 th hole at 12:30. This course is only for those who can place EVERY shot they make. Lots of blind shots..

Bottom line; I was looking for the Windmill and Clowns heads on some of the greens.

We loved this course , they even had no good pace .

They were very beautiful and nice layout !

They also carry very good item in their pro shop !

We bought their leather belt with their logo !

We had great time at their bar after golfing , too.

I was charged by GN for 4Some on 7/3/22. I was trying to book two together, but GN app was not functioning properly.

I call pro shop at Split Rock and they confirmed that I would have two foursomes …, one paid by GN reservation and one paid on 7/3 at pro shop. My credit card was charged $285.01 by GN, but when I checked in at Split Rock, they did not get that fee from GN and charged me $576 for both 4somes. Please supply credit for GN charge of $285.01 for reservation created on 6/18 as this was not advanced to Split Rock who then charged me for both 4somes on 7/3/22

Overall great experience. Tough course for amateurs with hazards to clear on most holes and tight fairways. 1-2 tee boxes and greens need some attention. Super friendly bag drop attendant, pro shop counter person, snack bar staff and bar staff.

Split Rock Golf Course is a challenging, but fun course to play. The course was in pretty good condition. A green or two needed some recovery, but the rest were nice. Course cuts through the woods in the Poconos and is very spread out, whereas you really don't cross paths with many people throughout your round.

Staff was very friendly. Food and drink prices are very reasonable.
