The Signature Hole - welcome to the 11th Tee! Photo submitted by u577723136 on 07/21/2019
Target golf in the mountains
Played from blue tees. Course conditions were average. The course needs some work and maintenance on fairways and greens. I was told they only have 5 workers to maintain a 27 hole course during the week. It's simply not enough if you want an elite course. No one is paying attention to the details on the course. ex: The cups were not moved on the greens in a couple days and some lady was sitting in cart talking on the phone talking about her weight loss and laundry while my partner and I were putting on the green....Funny, but are you kidding? If you want to shoot low, you really need to play it twice. I would play it again, but only at a hot deal price.
Beyond amazing
I was very impressed with everything this course offered. From the moment you drop your bags, you feel and see the professionalism of everyone working there. Check in was a snap and the starter was on top of everything. Once you step onto the course...the hills come alive. The course is beautifully maintained. The fairways are breathtaking and challenging. Many of the fairways have beautiful slopes and elevation changes. There is an awesome 555yd par 5 on 11 from the blues. 582, I think from the blacks.
I was very impressed that how quiet it was on the course. I did have to pause to allow a black bear cross my fairway on 10. And there was a young buck standing about 15 feet from me watching my play on 15. There were some areas that did not drain water well, however overall the course as a whole was amazing. A must golf destination for anyone visiting Pennsylvania.
Nice Layout
Second time playing this course, unfortunately it was two years ago and forgot some of the areas that needed to be targets. Shot placement is very important and knowing distances to landing areas is a big advantage. Pace of play was good, about four hours. Course was really wet in spots, the fore it was golf cart only golf. Would definitely recommend. BTW, the cash rate at the course was the same as Golf Now, so could have saved the processing fee.
Amazing Views
An amazing course with fantastic views of the Poconos! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
The heat of Summer put some strain on the course because of the Summer heat but the staff is all over the course maintaining it for the weather conditions!
Great job!
Great course
Great course. Every hole was completely unique. Had the whole course to ourselves and the staff were super friendly. I look forward to coming back again.
nice course
played sun morning and the course did not have many players. dont know why because it is in good shape
By Far Best Course in the Area
New to the area so I have been making my rounds to all the courses in the area and this is by far the best. The layout is unique and it fully utilizes the natural topography of the Pocono Region. Stunning Course. The fairways and greens are in fantastic shape and the staff is just amazing. Highly recommend.
Fun time.
Course was a bit wet but we had an enjoyable time.
Tight but great design.
Really happy with this course choice. No bad holes. Tight. Makes you think. Hilly. Really nice experience all round.
Great layout and a lot of sand traps
Great layout, a lot of rain lately so course was soft and wet in places. Course had a lot of grass on the fairways. Greens had been aerated recently and were slow. Bunkers need work - many washed out from all the rain. Very challenging course would be a great course with some more work to the grounds.
Split Rock
Great course at a great price. Only rated good because course was wet, cart path only and very windy. Still a good time and great value for the price.
North course
Foggy misty start on a Tuesday
Cart path only
Greens in good shape
Fairways mostly soggy and very wet
Still able to play an enjoyable round
Must be a great course when things dry oit
good challenge
The course was a good challenge, but was very wet. Cart path only makes for a long day.
Challenging course. Good condition for recent weather issues. Enjoyed the outing very much.
Tough rough
Even after several days of heavy the course (except for the bunkers) was in great condition. Rough was very thick, probably due to not being able to mow. Lost (and found) several balls in the rough that should have been easy to locate if the rough was the correct height. Definitely will play there again.
