Awesome Day
As always, it’s a treat to play the Walker course. Phenomenal views, great course conditions and good rate! Greens were recently aerated but very playable. Only hiccup was the pro shop attendant saying I had to wait until my tee time and play with a threesome I was paired with even though it wasn’t busy. I never did see this threesome so went out anyway as a single. Played through a foursome on #3 and never ran into another group until #18. Very relaxing day and finished in just under 3 hours. Shot 69 too!
Phenomenal
Really great experience! 18 was a temporary green due to construction of new visitors center
Great golf course
Excellent condition, firm fast greens
Go Tigers.
Course was in great shape with the exception of 18 which is under construction. 17 is one of the best par 3’s in the U.S. A must play.
Great track
This is my favorite course in SC. Played very tough with the wind. Be realistic and pick the correct tees. It will make this course so fun.
Amazing
Top 5 favorite places I have ever golfed, and by far not the most expensive. The views are incredible. The layout is extremely challenging from the tips, but still a good challenge from the whites. Greens are pure
Zoysia greens?
On more than one hole the puts break 3+ inches uphill from 10 feet. Short puts hit only just past the hole will break inconsistently from one put to the next. Not to mention the crunch under your feet in the afternoon I guess from the bristles?
1st time!
Great course! Busy but went pretty smooth; 4 hours for 18 teeing off at 2:30 pm.
Great course and greens
Overall the course is in great shape and the greens are excellent. Love playing the course but they need someone on course to help with pace of play. Made the turn and there were 4 groups on one hole. Waited all day after the first 3 holes.
#9
Course is always fantastic! Bonus replay only cost 10$ per 9. Practice facilities are best in the area by far. #18 is playing as a temporary par 3 because they are having to shorten it due to a new clubhouse\ business center. Once completed it will go back to playing a risk\reward par 4. Our 4 some all parred #9. That's unheard of playing from tips as it's in the 460 yard range with trouble everywhere including false front that feeds anyball short of green 10 yards down embankment to a pond.
Excellent conditions
Fantastic spring day on an excellent course. Conditions are very good and played in 3.5 hours as a foursome
Great afternoon of golf!
Course was wet, but very playable. Staff was great and the greens were really nice.
Terrible greens. Wet. Slow play
Unreceptive greens that don’t putt consistently.
Zoysia should never be used for a greens complex.
Always wet even in a drought.
Slow play. Slow play. Slow play.
Neither the men’s nor the women’s golf team will play or practice here. This is not their home course! Why, you ask, see above.
