Hickory Knob State Park

This is a great course. The opening holes that go along the lake are amazing and the breeze keeps it nice and cool. Each hole is unique and offers a different type of challenge. You have to contend with water, sand and big elevation changes. I can’t wait to go back and play it again what a value so much fun!

For the price I paid for the hot deal this course was excellent. A very challenging course to play with it’s hilly nature, lots of ups and downs, most holes you can’t see the greens or flag, so you’re having to play many more smart shots than normal, relying on GPS to know exactly how far and where to hit to avoid hazard. I will play again, considering I had the best round of my life here, an 85, prior was 99-101 completely breaking out of the 90s. Would recommend to anyone to play this course for a real challenge.

Had a fun day - catching 18 on the way home. Some good swings and some bad. Got the shanks on my chip shots somewhere around hole 11 using my 60 degree. That was a new experience all together. Course was in good shape. They have been working on it since Helena’s damage to the area. The guys in the pro shop are always friendly and make you feel at home.

Great value.

No houses, just nature.

Have done a great job recovering from the recent weather events.
