Terrible Course
One of the worst courses I’ve ever played. Course is not maintained at all the greens and tee boxes are horrible. Fairways have tons of tall grass and random spots that have been dug up by what looks like machinery. The only stop for beverages was closed even though we where told it was going to be open and they only had 1 cart girl working between both courses so we where lucky to see her once. This place is not worth the money I’ll not be coming back if I could get my money back I would.
This course was awful
Greens was in terrible shape, halfway shack was closed, ranger ran out of water by 4th hole, cart girl didn’t have ice to give out, has to be the worst course I have played in a long time.
Average at best
Not the kind of condition you’d expect for close to $100, a lot of dead areas on greens, dead tee boxes, long fairway grass
Not worth the $$$
I paid 88$ to play and I would not recommend this course to anyone. This is usually one of my favorite courses to play when I’m in MB but the maintenance crew has lost the greens.
The greens were awful with dirt black spots not even brown black all over it. Not one green looked like it was properly maintained. Have to cross this off the list of courses to visit when I come back to MB.
Aerated greens
Horrible greens. Just aerated and lots of sand in the greens.
Aerated greens
No one warned us that the greens had just been aerated and sanded. Putting was awful since nothing will roll straight.
Greens were terrible.
The tees and fairways were good, but the greens were only half grass, they looked like they had a fungus. Speed was different on each green.
A must play when in Myrtle Beach
This course is in great shape, challenging but fair and playable. You’ll use every club in your bag. It was only my second time playing at the Pine Hills course and a friends first time. They really enjoyed golfing there. Probably some of the best tees, fairways, and greens I’ve played recently.
Great service and fun course
First time playing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Conditions were great and staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!
Pleasant surprise
Course was in very good shape. Myrtle Beach had received 2-3 inches of rain over the last 48 hours and the course held up extremely well. No complaints ans will definitely play here again.
Forgiving course…enjoy
Very friendly staff throughout. Tee boxes , fairways and greens all in very good shape. Most holes have wide open fairways but some water and traps to be avoided. Very large greens ….. very large! Enjoy this one
Need to play here
Everything about playing here was great but the pace of play was not good.. 5 1/2 hours to play… two foursomes in front of our foursome was constantly 1 1-2 holes behind pace. Waited on “every”shot.
Beatiful day on a beautiful course
Course was in great shape from tee to green. Fairways were very nice and filled in. Greens were smooth and somewhat challenging. Not real fast but good pace. Can't wait to play again in the fall.
A Gem
Every time I visit Myrtle beach Myrtlewood pibe hills and it’s sister course palmetto are on my list to play a round of golf , the staff are always welcoming , VERY friendly and professional from the pro shop to the first tee , the course itself is very enjoyable to play .Can’t wait to be back .
This course is in great shape!
Fairways and greens were great. Very playable layout for seniors and long ball hitters. Beautiful closing hole along the intercoastal waterway.
