Palmetto at Myrtlewood Golf Club

Our round took just shy of 6 hours to complete. We were keeping up with the group in front of us, as was that group and having to wait upwards of 15 minutes on some shots. Once we neared the 5 hour mark the other 2 players in our group opted to leave. You would expect a marshal to be out for the price of this course.

Played Palmetto and will definitely play it again! Course is in pristine condition. Staff was great. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and fantastic layout right along the intercoastal waterway

Golf Course was in wonderful shape the only reason for the four-star rating is The Greens were slow they rolled good no complaints just pretty slow

Absolutely gorgeous course that finishes up along the intercostal waterway. Wide open fairways, course kept in great condition, very forgiving for an average golfer, staff was super friendly. An absolute must do on a Myrtle Beach golf trip!

Great course for the value. Staff were friendly and club house had a nice selection of clothing etc.

Great layout, excellent course conditions, and smooth greens. The finishing hole along the Intracoastal Waterway is a beautiful and memorable way to end the round. I’d definitely play it again.

A great value for a single golfer. The course has some nice views and isn’t super difficult. Due to the heat and lack of rain the course was a little yellow but I’d go again.

The ranger was not friendly

There was not a map or a way to know if it was dog leg right or left. Water ahead??

Course was incredible for the value. Played in the morning while the greens were still wet and you could tell the greens were going to be fast once it warmed up. Fairways and bunkers were in great shape.

The course is in excellent condition. The pathways are very bumpy and broken. The cart has no GPS. You have to consider that you don’t return to the club house on 9th hole but until 18th hole.

Course fairways in very good shape. Also bunkers in good shape and maintained.

I have been living here since February. I live in the condos that are walking distance from the course. I choose to drive to other courses to play due to the insanely bad pace of play. I have played here 6 times and 5 out of 6 have taken at least 6 hours. It is not unusual to pull up to a tee box and have two groups in front of you waiting to tee off. This is unacceptable. I have never left a review for anything in my life but I feel compelled to do so because this place is a ridiculous cash grab. I give it two stars because it a very nice, well-maintained course, but go ahead and cancel any other plans you might have if you come here.

Staff was very nice. Course was in great condition. Pace of play wasn't good. Had 4 groups on one of the par 5s. Our cart died on the 14th hole. Overall we had a good time. Need the ranger out there more.
