Myrtlewood Golf Club

VERY busy when we arrived but pace of play was excellent. Greens were nice and very fair. There were a few hidden water hazards and maybe a few too many doglegs but that did not distract from a very nice course.

Course was nice, good course to start on after winter break.Fairly open for tee shots. Not courses fault but it was34 degrees when I teed off so conditions were less than ideal

This is my second visit to Myrtlewood with 10 years between visits . The Palmetto course is a friendly layout for average golfers. the course conditions were very good for early February and cold weather, greens were in excellent shape. The amenities were great and the staff was helpful and friendly.

We loved the course BUT it took almost 5 hours to play due to a VERY slow group 2 groups ahead of us. Marshals really need to monitor pace.

Greens in good condition, very firm but not burned out. Tees are very dry and a couple were tough to get tees inserted. Forgiving layout, with wide fairways. Enjoyable round of golf.

The course was just an average course. The layout was boring. The greens had just been sanded a few days before our round so I cannot comment on them. If you just want an average course this is for you. There are better courses in the area. The palmetto course at this same location is more interesting.

Pace of play was slow. Greens were very sandy. Staff was great. Tee to green was in good shape.

As always, myrtlewood was great. Played 18 three and a half hours with grabbing food at the turn.
