Too skow
Enjoyed the course layout and condition was good. The back up on the second nine was ridiculous. We had two foursomes on the tee for most of the second nine. We left the course and did not play the last three holes. Tee times too close together and no martials on the course.
Nice experience
Front 9 greens excellent, back nine greens not as good, but the course is very friendly and nice
Fun
Challenging course but accessible, played with 3 elderly players who were very good and consistent. Lots of group play. Pace was just over 4 hours but did not seem to wait too much.
Conditions were very good and sand traps raked well manicured. Lots of water and many non obvious hazards. Ball rolled and rolled. Greens are sneaky fast.
The bridge!
This is a fun course, and for the time of year it was in great shape. Pace was good, staff was friendly. The bridge you have travel over between the front nine and back nine is a real experience. To me it was fun, but if you have a fear of heights you might struggle with this one. The greens on this course are small. Some are real small. I don't remember any of them being flat and the ones that have water around them slope to that water. I say that to say it was still fun. I loved the challenge, even though it kicked my butt. I will definitely keep it on my list of courses to play in Myrtle Beach.
Good round on a nice day
This was an early season round so the course still needs time to green up. The fairways and greens were in nice condition, very consistent and predictable. Sand traps need some work.
Overall, a nice course for the price.
Good value. A little wet 2 days after rain
Course was in decent shape but check for cart path restrictions if recent rain. Good value.
Good value
Nothing mind blowing but great bang for your buck.
Nice Experience
First time playing WTGL and I really enjoyed it. Being based on the great golf holes from around the world, the course pretty much resembled them. Fun to play Amen Corner, #1 and #18 from St Andrews and #17 from Sawgrass. Everyone was very friendly and I would certainly recommend playing here.
Awful conditions
Without any information at pro shop, this was the worst conditions of any course we’ve played at. It was so wet and that wasn’t just from the rain the previous day. It was cart path only and we finally finished and we were loaded with mud. When you were in wet lies you had to walk 25-30 yards to find a half dry spot. We went to the pro shop after and a young kid was basically laughing in our face after we asked if there was anything they were doing for the golfers after not explaining how bad the conditions were before hand and having to play like this? He said no all I can do is apologize.
Nice layout
The course is a fair test. Unfortunately it was cart paths only. Greens were good.
Good value, a little wet
Decent layout. Greens had some slope but speed was ok
On greens so playable. No cart restrictions but still
Wet 2 days after rain
