River Oak Resorts

I was a single who was put together with two young men. It was my first round since last October and I had a good time, although I probably should have quit after 9 or not had a beer on the turn. We had an incident as the foursome in front of us accused us of hitting into them, which was not true. Not sure what brought this on, but the ranger came around and we told him our side of the story. We finished our round, without incident.

Fairways and greens were in good shape. Unfortunately the pace of play especially on the back nine, really ruined the day. There were waits of 10-15 minutes on a few holes, with three groups on some tees. There must have been a group way upfront that caused the slowness. The rangers were driving by to tell us.

The pace if play was extremely slow it took a full hour longer then when we played two days before and no marshell In sight

Very good condition for time of year. Greens a little slow but best tee to green course for the week.

The course conditions were excellent. Beautiful fairways and impeccable greens (except for one). Only complaint is that the pace of play was slow. We waited at every hole and it took 5 hours to complete the game. Still, I would play there again.

It’s a little moist but nothing to worry about. Great friendly staff. Starter very polite

greens rolled true with decent speed. fairways in good shape. tee boxes a little firm. kudos to greenskeeper and maintenance workers. best shape I have played on this course. joined 3 Canadiens and all were just pleasure to play with. played fox a d otter

Overall course in good shape for this time of year.

The staff at River Oaks was very kind and helpful; from the pro shop to the snack shop, and the guys who handled the bags and the carts. The course was in really good condition for February. The greens were consistent albeit with fair amount of sand and running fairly slow, but were quite true given the time of the year. There were multiple sets of tees which allows folks to play from 4800 to 7000 yards or so. The architecture overall is a bit banal but for a practice round or beginners or playing with your children it’s a great place. I’d like to play it again in season to see what the conditioning would do to the course difficulty the kids play for free is excellent overall a nice track especially for a very reasonable price. I would certainly play there again.

Great course, very friendly gor higher handicaps. Conditions were great for being February.
