River Oak Resorts

The course was in good condition. Pace of play was slow going. We were paired up with another couple and had fun playing.

The course was in good shape even though it was a little wet. The greens were great but slow. Definitely playable. Some of the pins were placed on some tough slopes but I personally like the challenge. The only real major drawback was the number of slow groups in front of us. Yet, you can have that anywhere. Overall, very good.

First time playing this course starter was super nice and took time to explain the course. Layout was fun greens were just okay but it’s winter time so no big deal. My only complaint was very little or no sand in the bunkers. I would definitely play here again.

Course reflects below average ground maintenance. Greens were fair. Overbooked and overcrowded.

Significant deterioration since down from 27 to 18 holes.

River Oaks is a very nice value course. The layout is very nice, but the grass condition is average, the greens are nice but quite slow

Ranger came to our foursome on the 7th tee and said we had 32 minutes to play 7,8,and 9. Interesting that we players 1-6 in 1 hour 28 minutes. Said hurry up or get jammed up because they double booked tee times. I know they had their holiday party. Hope they gave that ranger some brains for his be present. We played the front in1:56 and the round in 4:05. Perhaps they should invest in rocket powered golf carts if they would like faster play. Love the course, perhaps in was a missed communication.
