Table Rock Resort

About Table Rock Resort
The Table Rock Resort is different from most of South Carolina's golf resorts in that it resides in a mountainous setting, not a marshy or oceanfront landscape. It sits in a northwest corner of the state at the base of Pinnacle Mountain, sprawling across 500 acres. Table Rock features a natural waterfall, an 18-hole course called The Rock and an onsite snack bar. Guests who stay in the resort's two-bedroom, two-bathroom condos are allowed free golf.Facts

Vertical enjoyable.
Fair course and in good shape. Greens are tricky on spome holes. Must remember the mountain effect on putts. Some great scenery.
Would recommend to plah yerrany level player
Good Course
I was excited to play this course, but was left a little bit underwhelmed. I was thinking there would be more elevation changes, but the course is relatively flat with the exception of 4 or 5 holes. 1, 8 (feature hole) ,9, 10, 11.
All in all, good conditons, and fun place to play if the pace was better. No one seemed to care about moving along.
Excellent
Played the day before Labor Day weekend. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens rolled well. Bunkers could use a little work but not terrible. Staff was great. Pace a little slow but I joined up with 2 other singles and we finished in just over 4 hours. Great course, will be back.
Fun layout
Have played here a few times over the years. Always in pretty good shape. Love the par 3 with the waterfall. Fun layout. Recommended!
Interesting layout
Good course, some interesting holes. Average shape for a municipal type course the facilities are aged can use some updating. Fairly inexpensive and fun to play.
Made a last minute change due to rain at our original course. Daniel in shop was very accommodating on the phone and on check in to get us out in short time due to time constraints. Raining for first 3 holes then no rain and threesome played back nine in 1:45. Greens were cut smooth, rolled fast and true. They were in very good shape. The stream that runs thru the course is very clear, and adds to the course. We played with a "no driver" restriction and made for a good play from the whites. We were impressed with the conditions.
Good, moderate challenge, greens played well.
Interesting golf and through in a beautiful waterfall. Enjoyed the round.
Need to advise players of conditions.
Went there on the recommendation of another Clemson parent. Upon arrival, we were able to tee off right away. The signs showing the holes are not very accurate but we were able to figure out the layout. My problem is that when we booked, there was no notification that the greens had recently been aerated making putting difficult. I would have not made the 40 minute drive if I had known.
Nice layout
Was greeted with freshly punched practice greens and a net for a driving range. Not a great first impression. Found out the entire course was aerated and was not happy. That all changed shortly after. This is a target golf course. 1st tee box 5iron nearly put me in the creek. Several irons or hybrids off the tee with a few bomb it holes. I used every club in the bag. The water fall off #8 tee box made up for the poor condition of the box. The par 5s were solid, The creeks running throughout the course made for some interesting decisions. I would like to see this course in good shape.
