Tudor Oaks Inn
About Tudor Oaks Inn
The Tudor Oaks Inn in Summerville, South Carolina, is a small outpost with only three rooms named after famous golf courses in Scotland (St. Andrews), England (Sunningdale) and Ireland (Royal Dublin). It sleeps only six, but staying has its perks: Access to the golf and tennis at the adjacent semiprivate club, the Legend Oaks Golf & Tennis Club, which offers the Bistro One18 restaurant. Tudor Oaks Inn, which also has an outdoor pool, is located within 25 minutes of Charleston and near three large plantations worth touring - Middleton Place, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, and Drayton Hall.Facts

Tee boxes are unplayable
The tea boxes are unplayable on the majority of the holes. It's really not that hard to fix it but it's been like that for over a year. Poor management poor grounds crew and greenskeeper course used to be amazing. Now it's turning into kind of a dump, especially for the price
GPS cart shortcomings
Cart issues with GPS system negatively impacted on round.
Perhaps some kind of credit towards a future round could have been offered up in compensation.
MC
Slow Saturday
If it’s rained within a month it’s cart path only and no range. The course is great but it was way too busy to have cart path only. We had 4 different group on and waiting to play #10
Oaks
White tees are under 6k yards seems off to me . Next time playing blues. The staff was great . Lots of water on this course and saw a gator near the tee box. Enjoyed the day 😃
Awesome
Play again
The course is challenging but plays well. Got a really good price on GolfNow. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, giving tips on how to play certain holes.
Room for improvements since the costs have increased
Tee boxes have always been in very rough shape at this course and for the price you pay compared to other courses it just does not equate. Cart paths are in pretty rough shape due to tree roots causing an uplift. Not much can be done about that now unless you replace them. Greens are always in pretty good shape here so that’s a consistent positive. Fairways are always pretty consistent and groomed. I am hoping that since the price has increased substantially, there will be improvements to this course in the future.
Great Course
Great course to play I really liked the layout of the course is very fair on all shots you take.
Great course/Great food!
Teed off at 0730, pace was fantastic. Course was a decent challenge with the doglegs, and water hazards.I definitely will play this course again when back in the area. Staff was super friendly and even the starter came up to us and asked us what we thought about the course about mid round. When we finished we decided to eat an early lunch in the course restaurant. Food was very good with again a very friendly staff. When in the area please play this course!!!
Rough
T boxes are dirt, dead spots on the greens- definitely not an $85 golf course
1st time but DEFINITELY not last time
My wife and I were skipping out of Asheville to not be a burden on recovery after hurricane Helene. We stopped there on our way into Hilton Head Island on a last minute decision. We’ve visited frequently( I don’t know how we’ve missed this golf course, but we will be coming back frequently. We loved the “Marsh holes“. The course, staff and layout were awesome.
