Staff was superior!

Great layout. Great staff. Pace of play was great. But I believe that was due to price. 91 dollars for 18 when you have to move the ball on the green and the tee box because their is no grass. Some holes were better than others. I would definitely play again but not for 91 dollars.

Course has a good layout. Not a long course but challenging if you want to score well on some of the extreme dog-legs and water placements. Area had gotten a decent amount of rain recently after having one of the driest summers in decades. Greens were in pretty bad shape and caused frustration putting through dirt and burnt our areas. Having said that, the course always comes back in the fall and spring and I will play again.

Had a great day out on the course. Played with two gentlemen that were playing a match and knew the course. Pace of play was steady - finished in 4. Some of the greens were in rough shape. The ruff was high, so tough to find your ball if you didn't stay in the fairway.

This course has one thing going for it. It's a pretty decent layout, a lot of fun holes. That being said, its in horrible condition. The slowest greens in the lowcountry, I felt like I was putting on fairways. Even freshly mowed for the day, was way to slow. Running maybe a 4. The course needs help bad. For $80 its a complete rip off, go play any other course in the area. They might need to deep punch or fully rebuild the greens. Multiple bunkers with deep standing water. Rough so deep you can barely find your ball. Multiple tee boxes closed off to let grass grow. (One usual 150 yd par 3 was playing 90 yards)

These greens are too slow to take this course seriously. Go play any other course, there's tons better value for the money in the lowcountry. If you are the owner, please punch and sand your greens and cut them shorter. Or redo them. Its BAD.

The course was in great shape. It was a little wet when we arrived but dried out pretty quick. My two complaints would be, we had to use cart path only when the grounds were dried out and the club rental was quite expensive.

This Course is A Nice Course but Needs A Lot Of Work. Greens , Cart Paths , Tee Boxes. A lot are In Tough Shape And Need Attention.

The people here are great! The course needs work. Many holes have grounds under repair and tee boxes and greens that need serious help. It seems they are working towards improvement. But for what it is, it’s much more expensive than it should be.

I hate to leave a negative review - because despite soggy conditions, the course was nice. Good fairways, maintained rough, mostly nice greens. Staff were nice, food was good. But my god this was by far the single. Worst. Pace. Of. Play. I’ve. Ever. Experienced. I didn’t even get to finish 18. Couldn’t even skip because 3 holes deep it was jammed up. Guys with no sense of pace of play or golf etiquette. I’m all for a good mulligan, but when you have a literal line behind you, maybe rethink hitting your 7th ball. There was no one from the course to keep things moving. I literally took a 45 minute lunch break and caught the guy in front of me in 2 holes. 2 holes. That’s disgusting. If anyone was paying any attention to pace of play, my rating would’ve been higher. But I’ve never had a less enjoyable day on a golf course than today. For context, it took nearly 4 hours to play 15 holes before I gave up and called it a day. Teed off around 3 on a Wednesday, played solo. There is no excuse for 15 holes taking that long. I played another course yesterday in 2 hours and 20 minutes, all 18. That’s insanely fast yes, but today was the polar opposite. Pace of play needs to be at least somewhat moderated folks, sincerely - dude who should’ve been done an hour ago and got to play all 18 I paid for.
