Okay Round
Brought client and co-worker today. Greens are average; very inconsistent speed. Pin positions are poorly chosen. #4 is unfair if ball is anywhere above the pin. Lots of golfers; slow round. Can you please re-calibrate the carts to not sent 3+ cart-path only reminders per hole. 5 seems to always be cart path only as are several others. You shut off carts the minute they hit one of these fairways. We don’t need 3+ bells per hole as reminder.
This could be a nice course / experience what some improvements.
Challenging yet fair
Course plays very well for longer players, but you must be able to putt. Greens are phenomenal, but are certainly the most challenging part. Pins can be in some nasty places, with tons of roll and very deceiving undulation. Course has done very unique character to it upon entry, and throughout the course. Women’s tees play fair for females in most cases, but very rewarding to longer hitters. Would recommend to any player.
Way off pace
Great day , great course. Pace of play was the worst I have ever experienced on any course.
As good as it gets!
Been playing for more than 4 decades and this course is probably in my top 10! FantastIc layout with lots of character. Entire course was in good shape but the greens were beyond good. Challenging but nothing unfair or overly “tricked up”. Absolute pleasure to play.
Beautiful Landscape
The course was really pretty although they fairways were narrow. The greens were really receptive and the pace of play was perfect. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time.
Great course
From the first tee to the last there’s challenge on every hole you have sand traps u can’t see out of u have water on the right and left woods all around and GPS on the cart this place is 1st class
Frustrating
It was a beautiful day for golf. I had a 1:00 pm tee time and the pro shop asked me if I wanted to play earlier. I said no thanks because I wanted to warm up. As soon as I got to the range the starter drives up and tells me I need to go to the 1st tee. I was not too happy. Then it got worse as our threesome was put behind a 5 some!! We had to wait on every shot all day. Who allows a 5 some on a Saturday?? The rangers were out all day but did nothing about it. I'd expect more after playing that much money to play here. Not sure I will be playing here again anytime soon.
Best place to play in middle Tennessee
Springhouse is the best course to play in the Nashville and surrounding areas. Been there several times and the never disappoint with course conditions and friendliness. If I lived a little closer would become a member. Greens are the best in the area , fast and smooth. Great fun layout that’s challenging but really fair for all levels of golf. Try them out and see for yourself
Wonderful course and facility
Gaylord Springs is a fantastic course. Anyone in or visiting Nashville should make it a point to play here. We started at exactly our tee time, and played in just under 4 hours which is pretty great. GPS on the carts is a welcome feature as playing it for the first time makes it really hard to know where to go. The practice facility is wonderful, the clubhouse is spacious and in the middle of everything. I can't say enough about the course!
Can’t wait to play again!
Great course layout... challenging enough for women but definitely not easy! The course design was interesting and beautiful! Greens were amazing, and fast! Course knowledge was definitely an advantage but now I know ... Looking forward to my next round! Maybe I’ll bring my husband next time... maybe not !! Thank you for this great opportunity and for being so accommodating to a woman playing alone (and for my mom who just rode along with me! )
Great well maintained course
I’m not sure I could think of anything negative about this place. It’s what every public course should strive to be.
