Approach to the par-5 14th hole Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 09/30/2019
Swing
The course was in good shape, but it could use some water on the greens with the hot weather. Tee boxes were somewhat rough.
A hidden gem - but painfully backed up
We had a great time. Pace of play was painfully slow with 5 groups backed up on hole 16 which made the last 3 holes unbearably slow. As a 2-some we waited for every single shot starting at the 1st tee. The course is in great shape. I do love the grass - nice and lush. Will be back for sure - but will consider one of the first out tee times in the future!
Love this course
We played this course several times and always had a great time. Course is in beautiful condition and staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.
Condition Issues
Good layout but fairways weren't in great shape. Greens a bit slow but rolled well... Course was a little wet.
Love this course
It was a little soggy when we played but course was still in great shape. I would play more if I lived closer.
great day at Lake Tansi
Excellent condition even with some soggy spots. Back 9 plays a little longer than front 9. Greens were challenging but fair. Staff was very helpful in getting us out a little earlier than original time. Pace of play was excellent. Would like to return here.
As good as always
Course was in great shape, greens were a little soft, but still putting good. Pace of play was quite slow, but when you pay twilight rates you get a lot of people who don't know or don't use course etiquette, so some times when you play after 4 it goes good, and sometimes very slow. Overall happy like usual.
Dry but still awesome
Even though we are in drought the course was beautiful as usual.
Best course I’ve seen in Tennessee
I was paired with another group, and we waited all day on the group in front of us from the very first green, and we had people on top of us waiting the whole time as well. I thought that there should be more separation between tee times, or that the slower players should let others play through, but otherwise the course was immaculate. Greens, fairways, and rough were all exceptional, and I really look forward to playing here again. I’ve played in Maui, Florida, and Myrtle Beach on championship courses, and this course was every bit as impressive. I highly recommend it.
Excellent as always
Booking the tee time was super easy. The course is in fantastic shape. Pace of play was good.
