Interactive touchscreen -- distances to front/back of hazards, greens, etc. Touch a spot to get other specific distances. NICE! Photo submitted by GordonATX on 11/05/2013

Looking out on #2 Fairway Photo submitted by walt02554 on 08/25/2013
Yes, nice course, but overpriced.
Played here starting in 2009. Course has always been very nice. The new holes 10-13 are really great holes, kinda spoils you before you go back to the original course. The fairways and greens are mostly nice, few dead spots just from the bad drought around the fairways and greens. Tee boxes have a problem with weeds, but generally course is very nice, just still overpriced. I paid $87 with discounts, but generally gonna cost you a cool $100. Definitely be back!
Not worth the money
Great layout
Friendly staff
Course below average conditions
I think there are other courses around that are better conditions, and better pricing
It’s a fun track and a good challenge, but not for the price
Not worth the drive from Austin and overpriced
Course is way over priced for the overall quality. Tee boxes and fringe around the greens have some grass disease going on, pretty sad when munis a forth of the price in Austin are in better shape.
The highlight of the round was playing the new 4 holes (10 thru 13) on the back nine which are in great shape. They tease you with these holes and once you hit 14 you're back to the crappy tee box, fringe conditions.
Oh forgot to mention whoever cuts the hole for the greens should be fired, looks they hired a 5 year old to cut them with a pair of scissors.
Challenging, Quiet, and Fun
Beautiful course in a semi-remote location. Great pace of play, golf shop, Tiny’s food shop, starter, cart girl, and towel boy were all friendly and the golf shop had cool clothes.
Felt very welcome and played 2x while staying in Austin. Would play again!
Greens in good shape and overall a good time despite the TX summer heat!
Almost Great
This course has the potential of being a top 10 course in Austin area. Tee boxes need work and the sand isn’t what you’d expect from a $100+ course. They also have a serious nutsedge issue that needs to be addressed.
On the bright side it’s a great layout and the greens run true. It’s just not quite what it should be for the price.
Fathers Day Get Away
Nice course in great shape. Extremely hot conditions made for challenging day. They had ice cold towels given out on course! Only wish they had beverage cart service. Had a great time!
Challenging
Definitely challenging, need to be correctly positioned off the tee and a lot of forced carries.
Conditions excellent in June.
Miss some of the old holes on the back 9.
Received iced towels twice from the staff during the round.
A bit soggy but great
I haven't played this course in a couple years but I remember it pretty well. First time I played it with the new 4 holes and they did a great job on the layout of those holes. We got a heavy rain the night before so everything was cart path only but that's not too bad when pace of play was not an issue. It's still a bit pricey to play on a regular basis for me and a good drive just to get there, otherwise it's a fun and very challenging course to play on occasion. Great selection in the proshop, bought a couple shirts and hat. No beverage service that day so that was not a plus. Driving range and putting area is nice. I look forward to playing it once again.
First round in Texas
Planned some plays while visiting family in Texas. This course has a great layout with wide fairways and tough approach greens. Fairway bunkers and some water keep it interesting all the way thru. A few great vistas and green for days!
