Staff kept the pace of play steady. Conditions were great and layout challenging. Would do it again when I visit the area.

I was very happy to have found this course, having just moved here from Northern California, and getting to play some iconic Monterey courses.

It was a spectacular layout winding through some beautiful scenery, even though it is built in a housing community, you never feel crowded by the homes. Excellent blend of challenges if you choose to take them on or some sensible play to wider areas if needed. Greens were overall in very good shape rolled very true, held chip shots consistently.

I really look forward to playing this course many more times!

It is challenging with its length and green structures for low handicappers, or very playable from multiple tee choices for average players.

A must play when in the area

Great layout with elevation changes tee to green. Greens are tough to read with slope/undulations. Stay in the fairways or bring lots of balls. I love the course but only play 2-3 times per year based on cost. You can play it cheap in the afternoons, but I prefer mornings where it’s not as hot and pace of play is not an issue. The greens roll true but are the slowest of any Austin course I’ve played this year (at least 8 courses) and disappointing as 6-7 greens had damage, either disease or vandalism. I’ll be back but will probably wait a month or two.

Greens great bunkers bad fairways just coming in. Course layout interesting fun to play

Had to wait 10 minutes every hole for 5 hour round greens were like putting on cabbage.

Have to wonder what a good deal is. Use to be a course I liked.

Tee boxes were all excellent. Every single green was well maintained. My only issue was I could n't read the greens to save my life. Many times when reading the green it looked straight with no break. and many times it would break near the hole. So the greens were a challenge but that was good thing. You could not take any putt for granted thus showing the quality of the how well maintained the greens are.

The course is pretty with a lot of changes in elevation. Nice practice area and nice concessions, cart girl comes around for on course snacks and drinks. Good bathrooms and water stations.

Not friendly for senior golfers because it requires a lot of walking, much of it on hills. The course is not layed out well if you like to walk instead of using a cart. Even with a cart you’ll have plenty of hiking to do.

Course at FH is not what it used to be.

Nice course. Bunkers need some work. Well worth $49 not $89 it had been.

One of the best winter conditioned courses during the winter in Austin.

Fairways are brown and dry, they have some drainage issues with standing water in some spots, greens are in good shape. Good value for the “hot deal” pricing I received through Golf Now but not worth it for Falconheads normal fees.
