On the Texas coast, Palmilla Beach Resort & Golf Club in Port Aransas features a rare links golf course in the United States. Originally designed by Arnold Palmer, the course was later shorted to a nine-hole course under 2,500 yards and a three-hole short golf course called the "Loop: as part of the resort's commitment to a family-friendly and relaxed lifestyle. The resort is a residential development that uses Turnkey for its vacation rental properties. Homeowners and guests through the resort have access to a concierge, beach and pool access. There are several bars and restaurants onsite highlighted by the Black Marlin. Port Aransas is located south of Houston near Corpus Christi.Facts

Beautiful grass.....
The course is in great shape....the staff is friendly and helpful....the greens are beautiful...and the ball just rolls in the hole
Pricey for 9 hole par 32 golf course
The course is excellently maintained. Beautiful and challenging, but par 32, 5 par fours and 4 par threes with two finishing holes both par threes. If you want to play golf in Port Aransas this is your only option.
Most Plush Course in CC Area
It’s always great to play here. It takes a few holes to acclimate to the softness of the fairways because every other course in the area in nothing but hard pan. Greens are pure. Lots of undulations and beautiful scenery. Bring your pitch mark tool.
Love this course
Challenging enough for my game. Very good conditions and a great staff. Give it a shot.
Great course
Manicured fast greens with fairways with good roll, middle course was scenic Staff was helpful and got ladies Nike shoes on sale! Other golfers very courteous and forgiving highly recommend!
Missing the rest of the course.
As Newport Dunes/Palmilla Beach before hurricane Harvey, it was one of my favorite layouts in Texas. I'm glad they kept the holes that they could, but I really missed the rest of the course. It's still fun to play!
Missing Newport Dunes
Since the hurricane wiped out the course, it's good they saved some of the original layout. I miss the AP links that it was.
