Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

Course conditions were fair to poor. Ice was on most of the flag sticks. Honestly, the course should have been closed to play. (Pro shop indicated the Driving Range was closed due to poor weather, but course remained open) Maintenance crew was working on a few sprinkler lines and had to close some of the holes. Great value for the $$, however wait for better weather.

Had a great time, the coarse isn't the hardest one I've ever played but that's what made it challenging enough for the average golfer. I'll me back again.

Tees are excellent condition. Fairways are awesome but the greens were the best I have ever played. You have got to be a pro to figure out these putts. I love challenges like this.

Can't wait to go back and play this course again.

Great value for the price. Some of the greens and fairways on front nine were very close to each other. Back nine ok. The course is still improving in a positive way. Noticed where some wild hogs had rooted up some areas on the back nine. Luckily none of the greens were damaged. The only problem I had was I encountered at least two Groups of Five who were not golf friendly. Probably members who have played there a lot and think they have more clout than anyone else. I can handle four but not five. Still a great place to play.

I used to play this course 20 - 25 years ago and it went into a long decline. It is now in awesome shape and the greens are in excellent condition. Kudos to the new management team.

The course is in amazing condition right now and i can't wait to go back and play again.

Only 2 negatives:
No beverage cart making the rounds
Too many divots on fairways that need fixing.
Other than this, a definitive winner. Great challenging shots from all over the place. Greens firm and fast, with great undulation.

Enjoyed playing this course. It had been a couple of years since playing. Had a friend here from Erie, Pa.
playing with me. The weather was nice and the course was in good shape for this time of year. Greens were a little hard from lack of moisture.

We had a great time. It got really cold on us but we still enjoyed playing. A very challenging golf course.

Lovely setting, great amenities and friendly staff. Great views and some great holes. Good fun to play and would return to play it again.

The remodeled course and Restaraunt are upscale and very cozy.

Very nice set up. Staff in the pro shop were absolutely fantastic. Course was in great condition though the greens were a bit too fast for my taste.

I no I was a single, but!!!!! course was full, mostly 4s, caught the group ahead on the 4th was informed it was busy and that they were all hitting 2 balls?? At the turn there group stopped and a twosum came on course at 10...didn't want to pair up and not let me play thru said was busy and I'd be waiting anyway...These were either residents or guests at this resort....this is one way to keep from returning.......interaction with all staff was great

Course conditions were very nice, scenery was wonderful. Only complaint was lack of refreshment cart and/or quickly prepared/prepared food at the clubhouse between 9 and 10. My chicken salad sandwich was the best I have EVER had, - worth the wait for me, but it took over 15 minutes, which was too long for my playing companions..

The course was ok. It needs water bad. If I had to pay "full" rice I wouldn't lay there given its condition.

Very enjoyable round of golf. Greens and fairways in best condition in years. Obvious the owners are making the effort to improve course conditions. Tee boxes could be better. Pretty unlevel. Had a good time. Will be back.

Overall, a good place to play. My only complaint was that some of the holes were under maintenance and made it difficult to play. I wound up skipping those holes.

We had a great day of golf. We played 14 holes as my golf buddy had to work in the afternoon. It was a well worth it day of golf. Course was challenging but not overwhelming. I would encourage anyone looking for a well maintained and quite beautiful scenic day of golfing to give it a try.

Tapatio springs sure bring out the golfer in you , overall facilities and accommodations are beyond compare , the course is as good as it has his difficulty witch makes the challenge a way to improve your performance, second time in this place and I will definitely be back many many times!
