Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

Played the tips. Great layout. Fair but challenging. Beautiful.

Only negative ......the $(/&:(?!/ golf carts. My park brake didn’t work and it’s hilly. Also, the cart would shut down for no reason and GPS would say return to path!!!! While on the path. Many times. Wouldn’t reset. Had to get out and push. SUX.

Hadn’t played Tapatio Springs golf course in s few years, mostly because the resort closed down their resort rooms due to the Clubhouse, restaurant, & bar burning down 2 years ago. The burned down clubhouse facility is almost finished being rebuilt & the resort rooms have been updated. The course itself is in great shape, & looks much like when I last played it. My only complaint is that someone at the course dropped the ball in neglecting to inform Golf Now that the greens had just been aireated & sanded, therefore, we didn’t know that when we purchased our spots. Wish all involved would do a better job of informing golfers of this before they

Great environment and interesting layout. Very fun course. If you play decent it doesn’t penalize you like others. If you are a little off the tee and can shape shots you can still score well. Some of the holes we would have played differently if we knew what we know now. The management and maintenance of this course is amazing for this time of year. Only one green had a little scarring but all rolled great. It is just a fun course to play. My home course is very good but penalizes you when you slightly hiccup off the box. Great people and great time. We be back and may just join as a member.

Clubhouse under construction so pro shop is in a trailer. That is where the "not excellent" portion stops. Course was in great shape. Greens looked like they had recently be worked on and had a touch of sand on them but still ran nice a smooth and fairly fast. Not overly long and mostly adequate fairway width. Would love to play this course regularly.

The course is in amazing shape! And the staff was so friendly. Had a great day out there!

Great course. Construction going on now, but when finished it will be a really nice outing. Comfortable time was had by all. Will be back when work is done.

Played here several times now. It is always a good experience, the course is in excellent condition and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend

I am a frequent visitor to the San Antonio area, I play this beautiful golf course whenever I visit there.

Had to play the front nine twice, back nine closed due to aeration of the greens. Front nine had just been done and sanded so putting was a joke but I love this course and enjoyed my round anyway.

Price to play through golf now was a great offer for this resort style course.

Beautiful course! Finally a 4hr round with golfers on every hole. Good work Marshalls !!!

The fairways were is great shape as were the green but the Green were very slow over all it a great course. I wish they do a better Good on discount for Vets.

Other than the slow play on the front 9, great day of golf. Free range balls to warm up, fairways and greens in excellent condition and even the weather was perfect.

First time playing here. Not many negatives: (1) due to the storm the days before, it was cart paths only; (2) the greens were being aerated and were a little rough; and (3) a lot of construction going on (for the presumably new club house) which made it rather difficult locating Hole #1 after we finished Hole #18 (started on the back nine). The POSITIVES, however, far outweighed the temporary negatives. Excellent layout and I used every club in my bag. Would play here again and highly recommended!!

We generally love playing Tapatio Springs, and we generally play in 3.5 hours. Today only the back 9 was open and we found ourselves behind 2 very slow groups. We ended up leaving after playing 9 holes in 2.5 hours. I’m sure the next time we play the spring course maintenance will be completed.

The fairways need more grass and it is still Springtime. The Rain will help. Greens were good, again, it needs more rain, but all and all in good shape. Nice layout and not busy now. Will continue to play here.

Besides the picturesque views, the course is in great shape!

While staying the area for 2 weeks, we decided to play this course.

1st Round everything went well and the staff was great & we enjoyed the course.

On the 2nd round the counter staff gal was friendly & efficient which we did because David was having surgery the next day & won't be playing for 6 weeks. I did ask a question about the price change from Tues to Thursday. I just was curious.

The Pro came over and said that was the booking place that they did not set the pricing. Ok.

He then asked me of that was my cart. When I said yes, he said NO personal coolers are allowed. This was a small cooler so I told him, I would put it in the truck if he gave me 1-1% & 1 small whole milk, 2 small homemade muffins, an insure & a power bar, 2 small power aids & 2 waters. He told me that a guy came in the other day with a BIG Yeti cooler full of beer. I told him, that wasn't us. He said "just put a towel over it"

We went out to play and by the 2nd hole had caught up with a v-e-r-y slow 2some who never thought to have us play thru. We finally just gave up & quit after 9 holes. I did not go back in the pro shop to ask for a refund as my earlier experience wasn't very welcoming..

In the 22 years we have been fulltime RV'ers and have golfed as we traveled {including The Old Works-MT, Coeur D'Alene-ID, Golden Ocala in FL & at hundreds of courses all over the US, We have never been told we couldn't have a small cooler. I felt it was embarrassing to be "questioned" in the middle of the Pro Shop. I would say that didn't make is want to come back
