Equinox Resort

We played this course in late October and found tee boxes, greens and fairways to be in excellent condition. The natural setting, tucked into the mountains with many splendid views, made the experience totally enjoyable.

Played this course in late September. Fall colors and moutain views were awesome. Played the couse twice over the weekend. First day we took a cart the second day we walked which was truly enjoyable. This is a great Vermont golf course and Golfnow.com got us a great deal!

Played here once a decade ago and have wanted to go back, and couldn't resist a great deal from GolfNow. Definitely worth the 1:45 drive.

Greens were amazing, smooth as could be and as fast as any I've ever played. Both a pleasure and a challenge. Only downside at all was the bunkers, of which there are many, as they need more sand (and better maintenance in general). But I'm already thinking about when I might be able to go back again.

Course was only about one third full. Two of us got around in about 3.5 hours.

And the staff, all three that I talked to, couldn't have been nicer. Especially the guy I chatted with afterwards about the best way to play a couple of the harder holes (13 and 18).

The foliage was at it's peak and produced the perfect background for this absolutely pristine course. I took several pictures to remember this fabulous day of golf in Vt..

Nice track, but many of the bunkers were in need of attention. Was in much better condition last year. Would play there again for the right price.

This is a great course - fair but no "push over". In great condition with marvelous views. Excellent greens but some what hard to decipher the curves. High handicap players will find it challenging but not impossible or unfair.

Very nice course in an absolutely perfect location for fall foliage. Took as many pictures as I did golf shots as the course this time of year looks like those golf calendars you can buy. The course is challenging enough without making you smash clubs or give up the game. A very solid course, maintained to the nth degree. A pleasure to play !

Located in Manchester, VT, The Golf Club at Equinox is the perfect Fall golf destination. The staff is friendly and the course layout is excellent. The views of the surrounding mountains with the leaves turning color were outstanding.

The course was in great condition. The bunkers lacked good sand. The greens were extremely fast and were very undulating making for some quick, tricky putts. All in all a fun resort course in a beautiful setting.

the place was in great shape. some of the best greens I've putted all year. back nine played very difficult, as the rain took its toll. no range continues to be a problem. dopey tree in the middle of the 18th fairway made us both hit the ball down the 10th fairway. nice little pub to end the day. the 129 buck rate was steep but golf now @75 bucks was just right.

We really enjoy this course! It is lush and green in the summer and offers fabulous vistas of colorful foliage in the fall. It provides challenges for every level of play--for me, getting over the road on the seventh hole!

This course will challenge all skill levels. Redone by Reese Jones in 1991 it is a great layout in a great mountain setting. The only complaint would be the sand traps. Although raked daily they have lots of stones.

I live locally and I've played this course a number of times. It is affiliated with the Equinox Resort which is super fancy and expensive.

The course itself is well maintained and really beautiful. If you are from out of town, you will love the views of the surrounding mountains and town. In the Fall it is incredibly picturesque.

Now that I have played it a number of times, I realize that the course itself really isn't all that interesting in terms of the play and shots required. I hit driver off of every hole (expect the Par 3's) and found myself hitting an approach wedge into just about every green - and I'm not a particularly big hitter and play from the white tees. The par 3's are pretty weird - #4 being uphill and virtually blind, and one of the other two is ridiculously short and downhill #14, and the other #16 is really long and demands a pretty stiff 6 iron (for me). The par 5 on the front is funky and plays over the road, the par 5 on the back is really nice and probably my favorite hole on the course.

Again, this is a really nice course, well maintained, and relatively straight-forward. It's accessible and very playable for first-timers but I think for the really good golfer they might be a little disappointed in the course from a challenge perspective. However, the average to bad golfer will probably like the course and appreciate it's straight fairways and abundance of short par 4's. The course is definitely beautiful and if you're visiting Vermont (especially in the Fall) then this is a great course to spend some time on.

Really grateful to get a great deal on Golf Now ($35 w/ a cart on a Sunday at 2!) - but would never pay full price however here. But I'm a pretty frugal golfer.

Very well layed out track fairways were perfect greens did not want to hold a shot every thing was running through the greens, hate these fescue roughs. Greens were smooth and fast. We went off after a captains choice and they were very slow 5 hours. I felt they could have just as well sent us off in front of the tournment We were their early enough.

Played this course as part if our 2013 guys golf getaway. Course was in great shape and very challenging. Look forward to coming back on our next VT trip!

P.S. don't speed through Mt. Tabor!

Played by myself - played Saturday and returned Sunday even though I had a 6 hr round trip each day - was worth every minute- cannot wait to return - hospitality and facility helped make the long drive well worth the effort - changing rooms showers etc. -

The course was very pleasant, and in overall very good shape. Greens were probably rolling 10 and the fairways were in pristine shape. A couple of small negatives were the tee boxes (played gold - back) were pretty uneven and the course had a lot of out of bounds, much more than I've ever seen elsewhere. Luckily there was always one side of the hole that could be played away from the out of bounds. Overall fun course could use a few hundred more yards to make it a real challenge.
