If you have the opportunity play this course.
We took of a great price to play this course. When we arrived we were greeted by the by the Pro who explained they were working on the front 9 and we would be playing the back 9 twice. Course was in great shape. Greens are a bit challenging. With the falling leaves of autumn the fairways were clear of leaves, This is one of the best courses in the area. If you have the opportunity play this course.
Great Course, A lot of Character and Challenge
Second oldest course in VT. Refurbished by Robert Trent Jones Sr in the 1950s. It has well guarded greens, well placed fairway bunkers and creek you cross 11 times as you play through the course. Will all this said it is a very open course from which you can recover from an offline shots. Play the correct tees for your game and you’ll have a great time. Hope to return, next year on my next trip to VT.
Scenic town and course
GreatCourse for what I paid on golf now. Can’t imagine paying the rack rate . Greens were excellent. And fairways good except for flood damaged holes. Par 3s were fun to play. Small greens. Do not get short sided.
Classi track
This is a great classi golf course. Not long by today's standards but plays longer then the yardage. Course was in good condition considering all the rain in VT. The course was flooded twice in the past month.
Wow
I loved the course. In immaculate shape from tees to fairways and the greens “wow”. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. I am scheduled to play again this coming Monday
Definitely Play
If in Vermont this is one of the courses to play afterwards go touring and window shop in town
Great Day at Woodstock
The course was is great shape. Pin placements were very fair and greens were rolling nicely. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Great course
picturesque course
Very good condition. For the good golfer probably not challenging enough. Mid to high handicappers will enjoy. Par threes 6 of them a little tricky. Fairways and greens excellent condition.
