Woodstock Country Club is one of New England's top destinations for visitors, earning a spot on Golf Magazine's list of top 100 golf resorts in the world. Robert Trent Jones designed the course, taking advantage of the panoramic views of Kedron Valley and the scenic and varied terrain. The golf course has a classic design that stretches to just over 6,000 yards from the back tees. Though the holes may seem short by modern standards, you'll soon find out that they require thought and will test your shot-making skills. Water comes into play in the form of a long, meandering creek that traverses the length of the course. It feeds into a large lake that comes into play on the 12th and 13th holes. It's a challenging golf course but not overly difficult for the average player.

A river runs through it
Kendron Brook in play on 11 holes. Course is tight. Play was so slow I stopped after 9 holes, but I was a single so that explains some of it. Tried to jump around 2 slow groups in front of me but nowhere to go.
One of the best in VT.
The course is challenging and rewards accuracy. The stream that runs through it comes into play over 11 times. Fareways and greens were in excellent shape. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I ve played a lot the top golf courses in VT. but this is one of my favorites. Highly recommend it.

The course is in excellent shape this summer. The course maintenance crew is really on top of things. I highly recommend this golf course.

Course was in excellent shape and staff was friendly!
Welcoming staff, especially Peter the starter. Course was in excellent condition. Shot selection/course management at a premium here. Tight fairways and one stream crosses the fairway 11 times, I donated 3 balls 🤦🏻😂! Greens are fast, definitely should have used the practice green before I played. Definitely will return!

When you are deciding on a day of golf with your friends, put Woodstock on your list! The course is beautiful, well maintained, has a great staff and all the amenities you need for a perfect day. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot until we left the pro shop that afternoon it was a fantastic experience. Couple this with Woodstock's dinning options and you have all you need. This Old Beauty makes sure you adjust your game to meet its many challenges.

Early morning tee time, great pace of play! Greens and fairways in excellent condition! Starter Peter was amazingly friendly and offered some great course management advice! Definitely will be back to play again!
Ideal day. Fun but challenging course
A course in a valley with a stream in play on 11 holes -- sometimes twice -- is inherently challenging. But it is in great condition with almost perfect greens. The premium here is on accuracy and it helps a lot to know the course> w
2025 Vermont WCC golf
So I have been coming to the Woodstock Inn since 1989 to stay at the Inn and play golf at your wonderful GC.
In the past few years I rent a condo in Quechee and play there as well as WGC.
My plan for next year is to rent in Woodstock and join WGC in 2026.
WGC is doing a wonderful job and I enjoy playing there for the last 36 years.
Jim Davenport has been very helpful over the years apprising me of golf opportunities at WGC.

I have played the Woodstock Country Club for over 36 years. The conditions today are better than they have ever been. I highly recommend the WCC to anyone visiting central Vermont.
Woodstock is fabulous
Woodstock has just skyrocketed to my top favorite courses! Karl Vogel and his team have the course in immaculate shape and playing from the gold tees made the experience even better. I highly suggest “moving forward”! Also, the staff in the Pro Shop weee extremely accommodating, as my wife had an emergency and they processed the refund without hesitation. Woodstock was so good, I’m thinking about becoming a member!
A beautiful course
This course is a hidden gem. Beautiful layout and some challenging holes that reward good shots. The greens were an excellent shape and the staff could not have been more friendly. If you’re in the Woodstock Vermont area I suggest you give this course a try.

Always a Treat to get to play this amazing course. Todd outside greets you like a old friend welcoming you home. Inside they take care of you and send you on your way to an amazing day.
Course conditions top notch even after a ton of rain and still being early in the season up here. Fairways and Greens lush and rolling true.
Layout is solid, you run up and down the hillside without some of the quirkiness that can come with mountain golf. A few holes seem a little too similar but you forget them quickly when you get to the ones that stand out. The tee shot on 3 is one of the best in the state!
Overall an amazing place that has great people running it. You get the chance go play!

The staff is beyond friendly. The course is in amazing shape. The greens were rolling true.
