Fun Course to Play
What a fun course to play. Conditions were really good and the greens were fast and pretty firm. Had one slow group but finally went through and played in under 4 hours. During check in they did not have our names on the tee sheet through golfnow but it didn’t seem to be a big deal. Great experience!
Great Course but Pro Shop Woman is Upset?
I love the course and I’m only mentioning the woman in the pro shop because I hope somebody talks to her about the importance of being welcoming and kind to customers. I don’t know her, but the few times I’ve interacted with her it seems and looks as if the last thing she wants to be doing is working in the pro shop.
Other than that the course, is great and in fine shape and the one time I spoke to a tall young guy in the pro shop he was very kind and looked happy being there.
Course was in great condition
There are some interesting holes, challenging holes, something for everyone.
Awesome Course.
Really nice place to play. It’s worth the trip and I will always try to golf there 2-3 times a year.
Excellent course, well maintained, friendly staff
Very underrated course out in Basye VA. Played in late April and the course was in great shape. Pretty relaxed atmosphere and very well designed holes. I’d highly recommend this course, great value for the money, greens are in great shape and the course is very well maintained.
great but slow
I have played here many times and love the course. My round on Tuesday was one of the slowest ever. It was the first time I have ever quit mid round out of frustration with the slow play. I'll be back again and hope things are back to normal.
Full fall colors
If you want to take in the fall colors in the Shenandoah Valley, play Bryce resort in late October. I am a senior player and actually ended up shooting my age on this round! The golf course was built back in the 1970s, has served the test of time and is in good shape. The layout is good, except for the 16th and 17th holes which should be redesigned. Both holes have 45° slants to the left and it’s nearly impossible to keep the ball in the fairway, even for a while played shot. The driving range is very nice although it’s away from the clubhouse. The pins on the practice putting are stuck in the ground, there are no cups, so you can’t do any serious practice putting. Although, my review may sound a bit critical, I do recommend the course to anyone who plays regularly.
Fun Course
Great course, well maintained, friendly staff. Course was challenging but fun.
Great day on a great course
First time playing Bryce and it won't be my last. Course was in very good shape. Very nice smooth greens, fairways/tee boxes were in very good shape also. Hodges in the pro shop is very nice and answered all of my question and made suggestions also. Course has a good mix of holes. They have a driving range, short game area as well.
Solid, Fun Resort Course
I play this course once a year traveling from New York to visit my brother who lives nearby. It’s always a very, very enjoyable trip. I always get a great deal on Golf Now…and the course is really special. You can’t beat the price and the condition and the interesting holes.
Great conditions!
Greeted by a very friendly pro started we played the course in under 4 hours. Course was in pristine condition. Fun layout with nice views of the mountains. Great value.
