Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort

About Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
Located a short ferry ride from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Clearwater Casino Resort, owned by the Suquamish Tribe, is more than just a waterfront casino. It has the amenities for a wedding, work conference, golf getaway or a relaxing vacation. The 183-room resort features a spa, six restaurants, four bars, an event lawn, indoor zero-entry pool, beach access and the excitement of casino nightlife that offers table games, slots, keno and much more. The tribe purchased the White Horse Golf Course, located 11 miles away in Kingston, in 2010 and made immediate improvements. A new clubhouse was added and local architect John Harbottle brought in to make the course more playable.Facts

Great but tough
It’s a great course but definitely tough. Buddy holed out from the back side sand trap on 18 phenomenal ending to a hard outing for all three of us. We were happy to see him make such a pro level shot!
Beautiful day in the woods
Such a pleasure to play golf outside of Southern California on a beautiful course in Washington state. Challenging layout with rolling hills and lined with trees.
Liked it so much we played two days in a row and will definitely play again the next time we come back up from Southern California.
Enjoyed this course
Staff was friendly, and the weather was great. Course played just fine, and I didn't think it was too slow (maybe that means I am the slow one?).
If you are visinting Seattle, you can take the
ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, and White Horse is just a short drive from there.
Course is playing well
Played yesterday afternoon. Honestly it’s a good experience any time you play this course, although I’ve never played it soaking wet. That being said, we teed off Sunday afternoon and the course was pretty full. There was no cart girl and no clear place to fill up water. You do get to pass the clubhouse at the turn. Kind of weird there’s a bar and dispensary here but the dispo doesn’t ever seem to be open. The cart had no waters in it, and not even a couple tees in the tee spots. They do have great GPS units in them with Bluetooth audio. So it’s a really funny mix of high end and bare bones simultaneously. I feel like with more fit and finish this place would match what you expect when you first pull in. Again not bad, but just can be better with minimal efforts or willingness to pay someone to stay out until 7 driving the beverage cart etc.
Maybe I just got lucky….
I read all the reviews about slow play and maybe that is usually the case …. But I played 18 on a Tuesday morning at 9 AM in 3:20 with a cart
Beautiful golf course and great conditions. Pricey and an hour and a half from my house, which is a good thing because I think I’d play it all the time otherwiise
Pro shop staff was super friendly, didn’t use any other amenities.
One of Western Washington’s best
Going the wrong way
This is one of my favorite courses, in the world. The person who checked me in was very nice, but they have gone of 13 min. starts to 9 min. starts, so now you are waiting on every hole. It so frustrating and I was heading to a 6 hour round. I went to the club house on the turn and asked if they could give me a discount on my next round because I could not do a 6 hour round. I was actually playing very well, so I was bummed that I had to leave... The manager said no and basically that they know it's very slow, but that's how it goes... He did not give $0.02 about how bad it has gotten... I doubt I will play there again, this year. Maybe they will pull their head out and actually have customer service come back...
