About Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. The WELL Spa + Salon, located in a separate fitness building, offers more than 65 treatments and services.Facts

Great course, Great deal from Golfnow
great golf course that I was able to play all 18 by myself. There's even a runway in the middle of the course that caught my eye. A leftover from the playboy club era days I suppose.
Great course but slow pace of play
We really had a great day at the Highlands. The layout is great with ample landing areas on most holes, great conditions and tricky, sloping greens. Played the senior tees (around 5700+) yards which made the course very playable for my ability.
We had some concerns with the help we received upon check-in. The guy at the bag drop who seemed very busy, never put my clubs on the cart, so I had to do that myself. Also, the women in the golf shop asked me to prove that we had prepaid. Luckily, I was able to show her the confirmation email on my iPhone. Despite these minor issues, we had a great day and would return .
busy and wait
too much slow play but ranger did not care of that.
I took 5 hours for 17 hols (skip 10 hols) .
top tier golf course
Fairly long with someelevated tees and greens, long carries and large undulating greens. Fairways, rough and greens all in top notch condition.
September golf
Great course with fun elevation and challenging holes. Greens somewhat slow and Huge! Staff is great . Fun day.
great golf
I highly recommend the Brute. The facilities are top notch, and the course is outstanding. it is challenging but not punishing. Anyone who love to play golf will the the Brute. The pace of play is very good as well. A+
Beautiful shape, big greens long. Beautiful course,
Played white tees long but challenge ing, great views, beautiful elevation changes,
Very nice
Want to come back as soon as we can. Very well maintained and laid out. Lots of elevation changes and twists and turns. Many bunkers which were very large and guarded most every approach shot. Greens were very large and rolled well with breaks that were hard to read . Course was tough but rewarded good shots and penalized bad shots. Great day of golf
Highlands
The course was in great shape. We did not see anyone until the 17th hole. I would recommend this course to anyone who can hit the ball accurately.
Overall nice place
Had a great day even though I played bad course was beautiful and conditions were ideal. Greens a little tough to read and challenging course. Good job grand geneva!! We will be back
Away Day
We had a challenging and rewarding time playing 18 holes on the Highlands. The weather was quite warm and humid, or we would have enjoyed the day even more.
The setting, surroundings are beautiful. Placed in the midst of the beautiful architecture of nature.
We will definitely be back!
An Eagle & a Birdie
Course was in great shape with very well manicured greens and landscape. Beverage cart was very attentive and had everything you could need out on the course. The greens were challenging giving up very little to miscues or reads. Greens were soft and rolling about an 8 to 9.
Scored an eagle on 6 and birdied 9. I would play this course again
Unbelievable views from elevated tees. Beautiful lakes. Excellent greens
First time in Wisconsin. A gem. I can see why this course gets the ratings it does. Excellent in every way. Golfers....get to the Brute.
Excellent Day and Valur
I will go back in a heart beat. Great course. High tech carts with Gps. Great day had by all. Course is not for beginners however. Perfectly challenging for our group.
Marcomar
By far the nicest golf course in the Lake Geneva Area. The views are breathtaking and the course is meticulous.
My Experience
Over all we had a great time the golf course, will go back again.
5 minutes from home.
I would like to thank Grand Geneva for a wonder round on the Brute course. The course has everything. Giant Greens as big as a house. Bunkers that make any beach jealous. Fair ways R Plush. Disappointed in that my 4 some repaired tons of ball marks on the greens, & put back quite a few fairway divots. Don't people have respect for such a great course. And all the cracked tees on tee boxes. Staff was great. Loved the GPS on the carts. No course should be over $100.00 to play. I found a daily special rate. & thank U for doing that. Im not rich. Every hole is a painting of its self.
Beautiful
Greens a little slow but otherwise in great shape and very challenging.
Could be considered a destination course
The Brute is a beautiful and challenging course, in excellent condition. We got our deal through "Hot Deals" which was unbelievable., but we were stuck behind an outing, (now I understand the price). It took us 5 hrs 15 minutess to play. Outside of the slow pace I would go back to this course in a heart beat!Make sure you use the
Highlands
Great facility. In feel its over priced if you base it solely on the course. Great staff, they will certainly take good care of you.
GPS on carts, can order food from the GPS and they bring it out to you, complimentary towels, tee's, divot replacer, ball marker.
Huge practice facility
Multiple drink carts on the course.
The Highlands has always been my favorite course, and is truly that inspired by the actually "Links" of a Scottish golf course. I have both golfed and worked as Supervisor and a filled in many times on a Beverage and food cart. You are also very correct! I can't tell you how many times someones ball had actually hit my Beverage cart alone. Luckily we had those thick and sturdy Plexi-Glass shields to protect us from the from and back and partially on the sides. Came really close one time though! A ball actually came on in the inside of my cart, and thankfully someone yelled to "Fore" in enough time for me to take cover under my seat, with my arms covering my head. So, yes... There are some blind areas on the Highlands, but it's such a beautiful links! I liked it better than the Brute, but that's just me.
