Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
About Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. The WELL Spa + Salon, located in a separate fitness building, offers more than 65 treatments and services.Facts

Perfect day to golf
Just a great day course was pretty empty felt like we had it all to ourselfs
Great time
Great course Great stuff everything was fun and challenging The greens are like putting on drywall it's just missing the clown's mouth on some of the holes! Very challenging
Must play
The Brute was beautiful. The layout of the course was excellent. There were challenges everywhere, but if you hit the ball well you could score well. The course easily fits in my top 5 ever played. I highly recommend the Brute to anyone that swings a club.
Overall good
Pace of play was a little slow but the ranger addressed the slow group and let us play through.
Course was on good shape for the time of year,
Greens were in good shape for the time of year.
The tee boxes were a little beat up and probably need some extra care.
Plenty of rakes in the bunkers but it appears most players don’t use them.
The pin on 12 was in a ridiculous position. The ball wouldn’t stop within 20 feet of the hole.
Great course
These are the best conditions I have found yet this spring
Very Good Track, well-maintained and Friendly Staff
Second time playing this course. Very friendly staff, well-maintained course despite the severe winter we had. Course lay out is fantastic, visually pleasing with numerous elevation changes but approachable for a mid-handicap player. Today's weather was cold and windy and that put a damper on the play. I live 2+ hours away, otherwise I would play it on a regular basis. Will recommend this course any time with no hesitation.
LOVE IT
Mid spring round, a little chilly and windy but a pretty nice day for April 18th in Southern Wisconsin. Staff on arrival could not have been nicer. Teed off on time ,at 8:45 and for the time of year the course was in GREAT shape. Beverage cart stopped by four different times. Our foursome played in just under four hours.
Wow
The Brute did not disappoint! Crazy hard if you don't hit the fairway off the tee. Overall excellent experience. Can't wait to play again.
Grand Geneva
Greens were aerated either late fall or this spring. Need a couple of weeks to get into great shape.
Covid
My partner tested positive before the round. GolfNow rejected my request to cancel - no way to even plead. The guys at Grand Geneva cancelled it - no problem.
So - no more GolfNow for me, but I’ll play the Brute soon!
