The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. Great
The Brute is a great track. Well maintained and in great shape already this spring. After 3 days of constant rain I thought it would be sloppy and it was not. This course is very challenging but not unfair. It is a must play for any one who has the chance.
A brute only if you walk it
Beautiful day, course is immaculate. Most rode but chose to walk. Very hilly gorgeous track. Let the fact that were playing Covid precautions (no indoor restaurant/bar, don't touch the pins, no bunker rakes, cups have a liner so putts rest against flag) not impact your experience. Enjoy the beauty, the challenging course rating and a fair but difficult layout. Previous 3days rained but course was fine, I'm sure the crowned green complexes were slower than normal (10ish?)
Brute Covid19
Great course during this "pandemic' to play.....taking all the precautions necessary so everyone is safe to play!
Staff taking care of the carts are wonderful!
Covid Golf
Greeting was a little grumpy due to the unusual conditions,
The starter was conversant, pleasant, and just a pleasure.
Golf course condition was excellent. Greens were firm and fast even with rain all day long. Superintendent should be very proud as this course continue to improve each year.
Covid 19 golf
Due to current conditions the course went out of there way make sure safety was a priority.
Very Accommodating
Very prepared for concerns about corona virus. Very determined to comply with guidelines. Golf was fun for my granddaughter and myself. I’m 75 and I didn’t feel like a risked my health.

Awosome
Took advantage of golfnow hot deal on last day of golfing this year. Beautiful course, friendly staff.
Late in year but course in great shape. Only issue was finding balls amongst the leaves, but that is fall golg.
Wow
The course is absolutely amazing. The tee boxes were perfect the greens were fast and in great shape. My only complaint if I had one was due to being a "business" trip I did t have my clubs so I had to rent a set and wow I've never hit better clubs (M5s)! but 65 bucks to rent? Overall no regrets, we were playing terrible and taking forever and not one time were we bothered. Great course!
Spoiled
I'm getting back into the sport and playing courses I was never able to get to. This course was amazing and the staff were super nice. The putting green was amazing and the free driving range, yeah, I was spoiled. I hope I get to do it again.

Brute
Course is nice with lots of false fronts that protect it from loopers who don’t know how to hit a long iron. It’s a good course for a match.
Poor setup
The course layout is not favorable. Greens are impossible to hold balls on and too many blind shots.
