Lake Lawn Resort

I've been regularly playing this course for around 10 years. Back then it needed a lot of work. Today the course is in great shape with one exception: the bunkers need more sand. There are a lot of bunkers on this course and many are very thin down to the hardpan.

You get a beautiful view of Delavan Lake from the 2nd green as well as hole 12 which runs along the shoreline, and there are nesting bald eagles in a large pine along the 18th fairway.

Recent improvements were made to the clubhouse (adding more tap beers and food options).

The course is not nearly as nice as Lake Geneva courses and I wouldn't recommend paying full price here on a weekend but weekday and member rates are very reasonable. Beware, however, as it's not uncommon to see groups of 5,6,or7+ players together as there is rarely a ranger on duty.

One last comment: there needs to be taller fencing or netting along holes 6 & 7 as a bad hook/pull can easily end up across a busy highway.

Played 18 and the course is awesome! Was one of the last golfers to leave and one of the gentlemen hopped in my cart as I'm unloading my clubs and took off with the cart( to put it back). Not giving me a chance to do a once over to make sure I had everything. Come to find out I had not grabbed a few items. And When I called the next morning they couldn't seem to find those items. Other then that everyone was super friendly.

Beautiful layout. Pace of play was a bit slow, but it didn’t ruin the experience.

Majestic Oaks golf course is an older course with mature trees, fair to play, and well maintained. Tee to green is nice, but be aware that the greens are smaller than normal, but rolls true. The staff is incredibly nice and greeted us with enthusiasm. They have a 60 or older rate with a free lunch that you can’t beat. I would recommend this to anyone.

Enjoyed two rounds of 18 this past week.

I would suggest some arrow directions on the path as some were a bit confusing. Also quite a bit of clumped grass clippings on the course.

I have always enjoyed playing here, it is a very beautiful course.

Really enjoy the round. We were there for a wedding.

Pace of play was 4 hours, excellent for a resort cours. Nice greens and wonderful staff

Some long par 3's some drivable par 4's and only 2 par 5's through a gorgeous oak grove with undulating hills and views of Lake Delavan. The outdoor bar and grill was staffed by extremely friendly and helpful people. The on-course beverage cart came around frequently. It was a great golf experience. Some tee boxes were in rough shape. The green rolled very true and the sand traps were well maintained.
