Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort

About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

The nicest course in the area!
The pro shop guys are so helpful and fun to talk to. This is my favorite golf course!
Best shape I’ve seen at LL/MO in a while. Fairways and greens really good, especially for November!
Fun coarse. Great views.
All is good at Majestic Oaks. Especially the courteous staff including Kim working the bar and food.
Always enjoy playing here. A challenge. Par threes are difficult. Course in good shape for time of year. Had punched the greens but were filling in well. Enjoyed the round.
Worth the drive.
The club house, amenities, golf carts, layout all top notch. Best of all the staff is by far the friendliest you will find at any course. Fall leaves made it difficult to find your ball but well worth the view of fall colors. Sunday was pretty windy but the temps and sunshine were perfect. Good food available and with beverage coolers available to take on the course. All in all a great time.
Walking options!
We needed pull cart options.
Pretty Burws
Great course for an amature. The holes were a bit tight. And narrow. Sometimes a little dangerous but very pretty and lots of fun.
Great Experience
Not much to complain about here in terms of the course. Layout is great, but trees in odd places on a couple tee boxes make things strange. Pace of play was really bad, and no one was out there to enforce it. Being three groups backed up on 15 was super awkward with a shared tee box. Clear signage might help at the turn; how do you expect people to know that they need to pay for a hot dog inside? With that, the guy on the grill was great. Unfortunately for him (and likely his tips) the bartender inside was unpleasant at best. Despite the negatives, strongly recommend this course and hope to play again soon.
