Not worth the price
Alright course, not worth the price. Could play a way nicer course for the same price
Fun course
First time I have played this course. It was in great shape. Greens are small but fun to try to land on. We went early so pace was fantastic. No slowdowns at all. I would highly recommend playing there.
It's all uphill
Nice track that challenges you with length and elevated greens. Almost every green is elevated with the notable exception of #7, 9 and 18.
Many of the greens have false fronts or rolloffs in the back making approach shots challenging.
Greens ran smooth and quick.
Course is well maintained and scenic.
Staff is very friendly and the bar is nice with Spotted Cow on tap!
Save yourself the aggravation.
Belligerent drunks all over the course with no golf etiquette. No rangers to maintain pace. Would've been a 6 hour round if we didn't skip a hole to fill the gap in front of us. Don't waste your time.
Avoid on weekends, otherwise great
I've played this course twice on Friday afternoons and it was a great course. Slightly overpriced but a very nice hidden gem.
We decided to play there on a Saturday morning this summer and it was an absolute joke. They were out of carts due to an outing, there were fall-down drunks on the course and in the clubhouse, and everyone's rounds were over 5 hours (ours was 5hrs 15min, and that's not including a 40 minute tee-off delay). Apparently there was an outing on the course, but how could you not be prepared for that with enough carts and a ranger? There was no ranger at all that day. The staff did a good job of keeping us informed of what was going on during the tee delay and we were even given free drinks for the inconvenience, so they deserve some praise. But I hope in the future the owner would get their act together and better prepare for Saturday outings. Until then I will not be playing there on weekends.
Beautifully Maintained
The grass was well maintained, staff was friendly, my brother and I went in the early morning and had most of the course to ourselves, beer is a bit expensive but the everything else makes it a minor detail. Definitely look forward to going back!
Decent for the money
Pretty easy course. Was able to use to use most of my clubs. Not a whole lot of creativity needed to golf here. I'm a high handicapper so this course fit me very well. Rough was not obscenely long and was decent to hit out of, the traps were in good shape and consistent from hole to hole with depth and softness of sand. If you like to hit driver and not play a "shotmakers" this is a great one.
Great Value
Very friendly staff and wide open fairways. A great experience.
