The Wilderness is the premier golf and waterpark destination in the Wisconsin Dells. The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort features 444 guest rooms, 40 vacation villas, 76 condos and 35 cabins. Nearby, the Wilderness on the Lake includes 108 luxury two- and three-bedrooms overlooking Lake Delton, and Glacier Canyon Lodge features 460 upscale condo units. Restaurants range from the Thirsty Buffalo Saloon and Survivor’s Bar & Grill to various grab and go options at the indoor and outdoor waterparks. Green condition
Amount of play seems to be taking a toll on the greens. Spike marks, foot traffic wear, poor ball mark repair etiquette are signs of heavy use.
Go no further
Wild Rock is simply perfect! Great design, incredible conditions, many tee options. You don’t need to travel far for championship level golf!
Beautiful Fall Day!!!
We had a group of six golfers, lots of positive comments about the course....the backdrop of the tree's, bluffs and difficult to read greens made the day enjoyable. We will be back again.
Fall
Overall beautiful course, unfortunately the greens are showing the long summer of play, little disappointing with sections of green down to bare dirt, making them hard and playing like a poorly maintained course.
Understand it is the last of the year, but maybe some consideration should be given to a moving pin locations more often or a better watering plan.
Bunkers
Great course and staff! The bunkers just need a little TLC.
Wet
We were from out of town, there to play with our parents in their late 70's, it happened to rain heavily overnight requiring cart path only. That was extremely challenging for them. Our experience was definitely affected by that. I realize that you can't control the weather but paying the same price as if we had full use of carts didn't seem right.

Nice layout but got lost from 8 green to 9 tee. Kind of liked the 3-par 4 holes mixed with the 6 par 3 holes😎 For all the rain we had the day before it played well. Couple bunkers had water in yet from rain. Staff very friendly
Wild Rock is one of my favorite courses. A beautiful course with interesting, challenging holes. We always look forward to Wild Rock!!

Beautiful course and the greens were super challenging.
Glad I was with my husband because it did not feel welcoming for women - the pro shop zero items for girls and the bar crowded with shouting men avoiding going home to their wives
Won't go back
They must have recently added undulation to the greens and 40% of each green can't have a pin. What a terrible mistake. We go every year and now we won't go back.
