Blair O'Neal
The finish of the swing is often overlooked by golfers. To make sure you have a good finish, try this drill from Blair O’Neal that will help you swing through, not to, the ball.

Very helpful thanks. Was curious how far to be aiming through the ball with this kind of drill. 2 to 3 feet clears that up for me.
Great easy advise. I am looking for any help for someone who is not flexible and can not get the full rotation. Any good videos out there?
Hi Blair. I live in Mesa, AZ a stone's throw from ASU. My little brother and sister-in-law are both professors there. My primary problem is not making the turn and swinging through the ball. I'll try your drill and keep working on it. I'm 75 and overweight which contributes to the problem, but is not an excuse for it. My other problem is not hitting my irons well ... but we'll save that issue for another day. You are aware that the ASU / Karsten course is no longer there?
Great mentality here Blair. This is a good thought over the tee ball!
Thanks Blair. Sometimes this thought leaves me because there's so much going on in every swing. Would you say this thought is most important for driving the ball?
To try I can’t wait to try this!
Love this. Thanks.
When playing, is it legal to put a tee ahead of the ball as the target?
No
This is a great simple drill! Thanks Blair.
Excellent drill
