About
Jack Nicklaus designed all 27 holes at New Albany Country Club, which are divided into nines and played in three 18-hole combinations. Having 27 holes has the advantage of limiting the congestion on the courses at this popular club. The versatile courses are a great venue for outings or tournaments. The West/North course combines the longest and shortest nines. There is an interesting variety of challenges throughout the course that appeal to a variety of different skill levels. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. In addition to the golf course, the club also boasts a unique golf academy that allows for indoor play. It is an excellent place to keep your skills sharp during the winter.
