Bears are even occasionally seen on the golf course. The rolling terrain provides many ups-and-downs throughout, and you'll rarely find a flat lie. The golf course features narrow fairways lined with trees and strategically placed bunkers frame the double-tiered greens. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. It is a course that will test your accuracy and force you to strategize your shot placement on every hole. It's a tough test, but the beautiful scenery alone is worth playing a round at Blackhead Mountain.
